Byron Cooke (and his son) have served us well since we bought our first house in Bloomfield, NJ a few years ago. In fact, Byron, originally recommended by a friend living in Verona, stopped by on the day we closed on the house, to help out with a perplexing furnace problem, which he solved in a snap. We are handy, and don't bother to call him about a leaky toilet. But Byron also came by on short notice when one of our heating pipes started leaking and we were leaving on vacation the very next day. He most recently (earlier this week) did an excellent job replacing the air vents on our heating system. He is professional, polite, doesn't oversell, reliable, hard-working, offers good prices and does good work. We recommend him highly.
