June 21, 2025 Conway came out to do a general maintenance at my air conditioner. Within 3 hours after he left it's blowing hot. Called them back at 2pm Saturday and was told they will send a manager out. No show No call. I had to purchase a window unit to stay cool. Monday I had to call them and still nobody. You have to go through their national call center. You can't talk to your local Conway service dealer. So finally on Tuesday Lisa Allen tells me someone will be out here Wednesday. I had Choates come out Tuesday night and there was to much freon put in and my unit had not been cleaned. Coils dirty. Conway sends out the same tech who messed it up. So I had my recorder going and he States he did clean the outside unit but not upstairs. The picture I have shows the dirt. And he also states he did not put to much freon in. So tovadd insult to injury, they solution is a $50 gift card. Read these other reviews as I wished I had. Those cheap service calls, cost you a heck of a lot more. Don't use Conway. Save yourself a headache and they'll let you sweat. Bad Business. ??

I have been a customer of Conway for 15 years and bought a new unit in 2022. I pay them $13.95 a month for service and discounts and have always been satisfied with there service. Today my Air went out and they told me that they couldn't come out to Friday, this has really made me upset, I have a warranty and a member and they want me to wait until Friday. It is like being a member and a good customer doesn't mean anything. I had to call someone else to come fix my Air and pay money I should not have had to pay. I believe that Conway owes me $400.00 is what it cost to fix. I would not recommend them. I am going to cancel my service with them when My Warranty runs out.

I have used Conway in the past for plumbing and HVAC needs and they do have a tendency to price gouge you when problems arise. Today I had them out for a main line cleanout and with an online deal of $83 able to clean or it's free. They couldn't locate an exterior clean out, so told me it would be $1100 to go through the roof but they could discount it to $800. If something is broken it's close to $5000. I understandably said I'd need to think about this and asked for a quote in writing. On the quote it said I ""refused to go with this option"" and then ""refused to pay the diagnostic fee"". I simply informed them of their own advertised deal. We've already called another company who has offered the same service for $200 less. Uncompetitive prices and employees became incredibly rude as soon as you decline services.

Nonexistent communication, unfulfilled promises. I do not recommend Conway Services!
I was approached by a Conway rep at Lowe's asking if I wanted a check on my AC systems at an excellent price. I agreed, and we set a window for the service. The date came and I took the morning off from work, yet no one ever showed up! I called during the window and was told the tech would be here. No updates from Conway at any time. I called after the time frame to complain, and they said they could reschedule a MONTH later. I eventually spoke with management who set up another window the next Saturday afternoon. Once again, the time came and went, and no one showed even when their dispatch said the tech was on the way. OVER 2 HOURS after the window, they called and said the tech was heading to my house. Stupidly, I left an engagement and drove 45 minutes back only for the tech to tell me he couldn't do anything because of the weather. Calls to Conway
management for rectification have not been returned!!!!!!!!

Worst experience ever!!! Had to get a new HVAC about 2 years ago & having Conway do it has been one of the worst decisions we've ever made. From the start of losing our electrical for our virtual doorbell, that's never worked again, to damaging our walls & repairing/painting the wrong color that sticks out like a sore finger, to the unit continuing to breakdown & have problems, taking them several trips to try & fix it over several weeks, has been a nightmare.

Yes, it has been down again for about a month & after waiting for different parts and services needed, we were up & running for almost 1/2 days & it froze up again. Husband called to get service & they were unclear about when they could come out. Shocker I know!!!

I decided to look at the Yelp reviews to see if anyone else was having these issues & it looks like everyone is. If you've had success with them please tell the rest of us how you did it, because this is just the pits.

So very disappointed & I don't normally write reviews but if I can save just 1 family from going through the nightmare we have the past two years, it will be worth it.

To think these things usually happen when you're not expecting it, you shell out a ton of money, you weren't expecting to & not have the value brought to you that was promised, not even close to what was promised.

Repeated service calls where Conway was a no show, no call. Promised they come out next time and give us a deep discount but again they are a no-show no call. Can't speak to anyone locally bc they were bought by a bigger corporation.

My water was dripping in my bathtub. I called about 5 different companies for price quotes and I asked up front did they have service charge. They said yes but if they do the work that would go toward the work done. I then called Conway. They said no service fee the would tell you what was wrong if you couldn't afford it that was that on that. Also 20% off the work for seniors. First I was quote over 600.00 . I knew it needed new gasket when the handles don't turn anymore. Now if the work for a company they know the cost. He came back and quoted 546.00 at this point they are here and other companies already said they just couldn't take your word for it. Now stuck between a rock and a hard place. I just let them do the job because i felt like i was being screw anyway. They has no paper contracts i was told i could pay in cash. I did. And i had to esign. Shortly afterwards i recieved an email saying i had i had esigned for something on paypal so i called paypal. I knew not to click in the email but i called paypal direct because i havent use paypal since 2020. The said it was spam .i called conway to let them knowv i that it to be ironic this to happen on the same day around the same time. Between the price and how it was done for pricing and it took him about 10 minutes to do the job. Yes i was screwed and the know it. Also the little flipper in my other tub was quoted 800. They would cut a hole in the wall but not put the peice back they're not contractors. At 800.00 thats more than my mortgage. They got me that time but never again. Talking to friend they did her the same way. When will companies stop screwing over people. From my experience people better watch out.?
