Many years ago we purchased a home on the East Side of town. Our realtor (Barton Smith) recommended a sewer lateral inspection. He suggested Conte Plumbing. Dave showed up, performed the inspection and I found him to be super honest and straight forward.

Since then I've become a realtor myself and have used Conte Plumbing for inspections and repairs for my clients and I've had him out a couple of times at my home to fix ailing water heaters and such.

I find Dave to be reliable, honest, punctual and his prices are super reasonable. He'll also steer you away from unnecessary work which I super appreciate.

Work was done well up until he disappeared for a week and did not return calls for messages left by myself, my tiler, and my general contractor. So we replaced him with someone more reliable. My contractor said there's an accepted rule that someone like that not be used again, and I fully agree. His lack of response caused a ten day delay in our renovation and a delay in our ability to move into our new house. And then he sent a follow up bill for funds due. He should be paying us for the cost of his induced delay.

Dave is expensive but his work is top notch. He tends to bid high but came in well below his bid on 2 projects he did on our home. He helped plan a complicated redo of a bathroom in an older home and after 18 months of use we have run into no problems with his work. He was extremely efficient in his workstyle and accomplished alot in a short period of time.
