I will be honest here - sometimes owning a home is not fun, especially an older home. It is even more frustrating for me because I am not really handy and neither is my husband. This is why you need someone in your back pocket like Confidence Plumbing to handle all your plumbing issues. Unfortunately I have had a few. This last week was the second time we used them. I had a friend the referred me to Confidence Plumbing and I am so glad they did. The first time my husband was home when we had a service call and handled the interaction. After that my husband told me that he had never had an interaction for any type of service work better than this visit! He was super impressed and said we would be using them going forward. I said ok. Fast forward 9 months and I had another issue that needed to be addressed and I called to make an appointment. Eddie came out to my house to check it out. Eddie was awesome! He took his time, explained everything to me and made sure I understood. I was pleased with the service and the work he did. We have used them twice now and will definitely be using them again when we have an unfortunate plumbing issue, which is bound to happen owning an older home. If you own property make sure you have a plumber in your back pocket like Confidence Plumbing!

So, I wish I was handy but I'm just not.. I've had to accept that any sort of plumbing or handyman type work is completely out of my field. I can build ya a gaming P.C... I can cook you just about anything on a best ever level. I can't fix a broken faucet. I don't know what the deal is or why its the kind of skill I'm completely inept at but it is.

We had a series of plumbing issues and attempted to get them repaired through our home warranty and I swear the guy they sent out looked like he had been awake for a week and explained he could do the warranty work but I'd need to also pay him for all sorts of out of warranty work. Not wanting to be taken advantage of I promptly sent him away.

My wife and I asked around with some of our co-workers and Confidence Plumbing came up. Eddie came out and I honestly must say that I have never had a better experience with any sort of contractor or repairman. Eddie walked me through the work he was doing, explained what was going on and helped me understand everything.

It wasn't just that Eddie offered a fair price.. it was that he educated me on my problem, showed me ways to prevent it and really made me feel confident in the work he did. I walked away from the situation with my problems fixed and educated on how to deal with these sort of things much better in the future.

Fast Forward a year later we had a few other unrelated problems and my wife called Eddie, she handled the interaction with him this time out, again and we got the same excellent service and fair price.

I don't know if you can maybe find a cheaper plumber.. but you wont get a more respectful, honest and intelligent plumber who's willing to take the time to help you understand the work he's doing.

We have used Confidence Plumbing 4 times in the past 1 1/2 years and they are consistently great.! They come when they say they're going to come and do great quality work at a reasonable price. They are super friendly and very trustworthy. These guys will lift your spirits even when you're having a plumbing emergency!! Fortunately there are people like Paul & Eddie when you really need them!!

Eddie and Paul called first and arrived just when the said. They came to my East Austin home to rescue my sewer lateral job from a "trencher" who really upset me with his attitude and his take on what needed to be done, which was totally wrong. This is the second sewer lateral I have replaced and by far the most complex.
As we needed to wait for a stump grinder to remove a stump in the way and a guy Paul called to remove about a total of 5' x 1' of my 6" thick concrete driveway around a very big tree, so we could reroute the sewer lateral away from the enormous roots that crushed it, I asked the guys if they could install a new kitchen faucet. No one else could remove the old one and Eddie popped the old one right off.
They were the 3rd plumbers to work on my second new water heaters (the1st was truly a lemon). I knew what was supposed to be done, they did not sell me on anything and I needed lots fixed from a very messy install. (the previous plumber crushed the side of the pan and routed the overflow outside of the pan and many other problems.) Now my water heater is installed correctly.
The sewer lateral was a challenge around trees. It also took lots of investigating to figure out how the previous owners decades ago routed the pipes to the lateral. Normally all the wastewater pipes join at one location. Mine joined the sewer lateral in 3 places yards apart from each other. Eddie and Paul worked long hours over many days to set up a new system and added two new cleanouts. They did a stellar job. I highly recommend Confidence Plumbing.

EDDIE!!!!! You the bomb man! Seriously!!! After our handy man couldn't get the job done he came in to save the day! He was quick professional and efficient. He saved our shower from the clogged black hell that lingered beneath! We now have a running shower at a reasonable rate! I highly recommend confidence plumbing. They even had later times in the day. Eddie was prompt at 6pm and. Finished the dirty job by 7! He even kept his cool when a creepy crawly bug found its way into his shirt! Awesome service!

Eddie came out on a few hours notice. Called before showing up on time to my duplex. Fixed the problem and then told me all else needed to be fixed. I can do most of my repairs and he didn't mind going through everything and letting me know over the phone what needed to be done without making me feel he had to fix it now. But, I would of had him fix the extra work but felt like it was over priced for the extra work. Now I'll go fix it myself but did appreciate the suggestions and letting me know what does need to be done to prevent another problem.

Price good for a emergency type of situation. He did come out the same day.

Operator that answered the phone was great and found out all the info for me that I needed to get and appointment same day and called me right back with a time line after talking to the plumber to make sure he could make it out same day. Give them a try if you need a plumber.

After investigating the low water pressure in one of my bathrooms for all of 15 minutes he told me that he would have to cut in to my wall to find a clogged pipe to repair, $1200. I said that at that price I would need to get some other quotes. He then told me that he was a "master plumber" and this was definitely the issue...

I had a new plumber come in the next day. He spent close to an hour investigating the issue before determining that my water pressure was fine but my faucets had gone bad. He showed me how to replace them and didn't even charge me a fee to come out. I replaced them myself for around $200. Thankfully there are still some honest people out there...

Arrived promptly within the time frame promised. Plumber was courteous and polite. Paul did not try to upsell other services I did not need. Job was completed in a very short time and they cleaned up after themselves.

Paul and Eddie did a superior job replacing the pressure reduction valve on our side of the meter and it was not a easy task. They had to dig quite a bit to get to it and then had to replace leaking pipe and the worn out valve as well as tie it all back into the sprinkler line. They took their time and were very professional in their approach as well as their interaction with me. Great job guys, I will def call you again if we need any plumbing services.
