I began my plumbing journey in 1983. I started assisting my uncle with his plumbing business at fifteen and launched my own company at 22. We have been a family-owned and operated business from the beginning, and I am proud that we have thrived in this economy, even as I seek growth. Our growth is primarily thanks to loyal customers and referrals.

So happy I found these guys! Whenever I have plumbing issues (which unfortunately with our house is often) I dread making the call to a plumber. I've had several different ones and every time so frustrated and annoyed. Not only are they pricey but most are rude and give you the runaround. These guys are straight forward, super friendly and really fair prices. We've used him twice and the second time they even finished an hour and a half earlier then he quoted us. A big plus...they are really clean!

Great plumber ! I would definitely recommend him. solved our issue quickly and easily; didn't try to upswell anything.

Over the last 2 years Johnny and his crew have been to my house four times. Twice for plumbing repairs (different issues) and they did a great job. The other two times were Johnny coming over and giving good advice not to spend my money on him, but to try it a different way. I appreciate that honesty and integrity. When I need him to do the job, he does it well. When he makes a suggestion I try something else first, he doesn't want to take my money for something that is more exploratory in nature and maybe something I can do on my own. Good guys doing good work.

VERY sad to write this review. I had hoped to write a great one after they installed our faucet about a year ago because they were on time, nice, seemed very efficient but right after they left, the faucet neck was so tight but we figured it was because it was so tight against the back of our backsplash. I called them and they said it would loosen up and it didn't. We just dealt with it cause I'm busy and we got used to it. Then a few months ago, it got so loose, the faucet started slipping out of the sink and the pull out sprayer was faulty too as it sprayed EVERYWHERE. I called Johnny and asked about the warranty of the faucet and he was great and offered to come out to check it out but he never made it. He apologized and offered to come back but I missed his call. I have tried to text or call him for the past few months with him saying he would call me the next day only to get no call, or no visit. I really just wanted to know the warranty info at one point cause it was clear he had no time for me and I wanted to at least get back something out of the $400 plus I spent to get the thing replaced. I was willing to get another plumber. We did play phone tag a bit but he never once called me without hounding him back. Very disappointed after finding out from my current plumber that their installation was missing a part. So yeah, it stunk to spend that kind of $$ on a faucet that I could buy at Home Depot for $120 to only last a year. Bummer

I needed some simple plumbing issues addressed at my house. I called Conejo Valley Plumbing. I got voice mail. I left a message and no one called back. Two days later, I left another message. 24 hours after that, Johnny finally called me back. We made an appointment for that afternoon at 3:00PM. I took time off work to meet him at my house. He never showed up or even bothered to call and cancel. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - USE ANOTHER PLUMBER.

Friday night late we had a pipe bust. On referral, I called another plumber in the area who wasn't available Saturday. We needed someone quick as we were hosting my husband's 40th birthday party Saturday evening and needed this fixed asap. I nervously called Conejo Valley Plumbing 1st thing Saturday morning as they seemed to be the only plumber available.
Johnny showed up 1/2 hour after my phone call as promised. Fixed the pipe in under 5 minutes. Charged a very reasonable fee for a Saturday.
If we have any plumbing issues in the future, I'll definitely call this company again and will refer them whenever possible.

I came home tired and aching from a long day working the salt mines... well, special ed, but either way, I just wanted to kick up my feet, put on some Netflix, and enjoy mindless entertainment. My plans were thwarted by a menacing puddle spreading across the garage floor, emanating from the corner of the garage that hosted the water heater. I inspected the heater, and yep, it was leaking. Not the good from the top of the heater leak, but the bad, replace-me, bottom of the heater kind of leak. I hit yelp, called around, and got a few quotes. One seemed too high, and another plumber wanted $130 just to come out and tell me my heater was leaking. Then I called CVP and re-entered the 21st century. ""Can you text me pics of the heater, and then I'll get you a quote..."" I snapped a few pics, sent them off, and had a quote hundreds less than the competition within 10 minutes. They came the next day, fought through complications, and replaced my heater, leaving the garage clean and without a trace of their presence. I couldn't recommend them more, especially since listening to the team work was hilarious. Seriously, call these guys.

Great guys. Very personable, knowledgeable and fair. After they left I felt I had gotten a great deal and was very happy with their service.

Wow, saved me some serious cash over Mr. rooter who wanted $2200 to do the same job Johnny did for $1000 and did extra stuff like run a camera and checked all my lines and cleared the seriously clogged drain! Honest , reliable, and a great family business. Also I called them at 8:30 am they were there at 10am out by 3pm! Something Mr Rooter said would take a day and a a half. The job was to install a double clean out in my front yard.

What Johnny says in the video is exactly what you get. A job done right, at a fair price and quickly. I don't know about any of the other reviewers on this page, or anyone who has experienced a plumbing problem, but bad drainage of any kind isn't a problem, it's a calamity. You want a fix fast because things get sketchy fast when you a problem, especially a sewage line backup.
On the two occasions that I called them (using a picture of the truck on my phone for the #) CVP responded immediately. Some folks seemed to have experienced some lag time in getting a response. Did those folks call the right #?
Johnny's call-backs to me were immediate and reassuring. The first visit, to replace a piece of cracked pipe leaking water underneath my dishwasher and all over the kitchen floor, resulted in Johnny, Brandon and two others showing up within one hour of the call.
When I made the second call, to service two overflowing toilets-filling up a bathtub and shower stall to the max with sewage, the crew was there in 15 minutes. 15 minutes.
In both cases CVP approached the work like it was a military operation. We are talking some serious teamwork here, some deep experience, and a professional but personable demeanor throughout the time they spent at my house.
You really can't ask for more than that from a local service provider. I emphasize local because I insist on patronizing companies in my area. It means a good flow of business for the local merchants and convenience for me the first time around and on any return visits.
When you retain any one of the big companies for this kind of work, they may be dispatching trucks from anywhere in Southern California and your may be encountering representatives who really don't know what they are doing.
CVP is right around the corner from just about anybody in the Conejo Valley and they have their act together. Take advantage of their expertise. You won't regret it.
