We have had a number of Contractors working at our house but Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning rate amongst the best.
We had two jobs done back to back which included replacement of all duct work and two furnaces and two blowers. These guys are top notch being very professional, hard working and delivered an outstanding result. They were polite, completed the job on time and cleaned up after themselves.
If you need any heating or air you should definitely give them a try!

We had an AC EMERGENCY and Conejo valley heating & air came to our rescue! Just in time for the heat wave too! We called them on Wednesday morning and asked them to come out to dos vientos to check out our unit and give us a second opinion on the malfunction and they did just that! When the kind technician came out he was immediately friendly and helpful. He pointed out all flaws in the first company's quote and even pointed out how if we were to go with the first company, it was gonna be more surprise charges at the end of installation. After being satisfied with the technicians help, we immediately scheduled the work order to be done and this company went out of its way to make it happen ASAP! The next morning, they had all malfunctioning items replaced in under three hours and had our AC up and running perfectly immediately! We were so happy with their customer service that we even gave their workers $50 to split among the three of them so they could have a nice lunch after completion of the work order. We will not hesitate to call this company for any other needs in the future & will be referring this company to all of our friends!!! Thanks guys! You really helped us out!! :)

He have used Conejo Valley Heating and Air for years for maintenance. We recently moved and on the day it was 100 our AC stopped working. Of course it was a Sunday afternoon. I called 3 different emergency AC repair people. Conejo called back within 30 minutes and asked us to check the fuses before they came out. Sure enough it was the fuse which cost us $5 to get a new one and fix it. Their offices followed up within 30 minutes to make sure we had spoken to someone and were taken care of. The other two providers didn't call me until the next day. I have always liked working with them however this just proves how great they really are!

The AC unit which they installed 22 or more years ago went out after zero maintenance on my part. A few electrical components and a thousand bucks later and it is working again. I am still on the floor from having to shell out so much money for roughly an hours work but at least it is cool down here.

After this initial review James reached out to me to see what would make me happier. I have to say that for a business to show this much concern for the satisfaction of a client is something I have never experienced before. With regard to my initial review, I was happy with the courtesy and professionalism by both the person I scheduled the appointment with and Ralph the technician who, by the way, did an excellent job. Their next day response was also greatly appreciated considering the heat and humidity we have had lately.

Once the work was completed they slapped a new sticker on my old unit. I won't hesitate to call them again for repairs or replacement of the system.

About 15 months ago we were doing some construction on house and the dust from the construction got into our air conditioner and caused the whole thing to stop working. Of course this was about 11:00 on a Saturday night during a major heat We called Conejo Heating and Air and they came right out and fixed our AC unit in the middle of the night. We were so impressed, we signed up for their maintenance program and they always do a great job. Fast forward to last week and we needed to have all of our duct work re-done in our house. They promised to have it done in one day and they were true to their word. Thewere clean, professional, on time and did a great job overall. Manuel, who led the crew, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever have the pleasure to work with.

Our ancient HVAC finally kicked the bucket and summer was quickly approaching. We reached out to Conejo Valley Heating and Air for a quote. From the moment our sales manager stepped through the door, I knew I had made the right choice calling them. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helped us pick the system that was perfect for our situation.

We set an appointment to start the install. Later that same day, the owner came out to make sure that the system ordered for our home was indeed correct. Within a few days, the install team showed up on time, with all of the correct equipment and in less than a half of the day, they removed the old AC and furnace, cleaned, resealed and prepped for the new units, installed the new units, cleaned up the area, disposed of the old unit and all with a smile on their face.

I was BLOWN AWAY by how amazing the employees were. Later that day, the owner came to check the work and make sure everything was completed to his standards. They completed all of the necessary permit paperwork, necessary testing and the entire process was absolutely seamless from beginning to end. We consulted several companies and Conejo Valley Heating and Air stands out high above any other company. In case you can't tell already, we HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

I'll make it easy - I would have no problem recommending CVHAC to anyone and would call them first if my mother needed work. Their work is excellent, they are clean (everyone wears booties before they come in the house), punctual and leave you with the feeling that they do the job as if they were working on their own house (ie, don't cut corners and do the ""extra step"" if they see something that ""should be done"" - without additional charges or questions).

Details:
Cost - they are probably slightly higher than some bids that you will get, but unlike many contractors the bids are honest and are designed to ""do the job right"" without the need to ask for additional money midway because of something that they ""found"".
Quality - first rate (I'm a bit of a perfectionist). My wife is a bit of a ""clean nut"" and she was quite happy with the floor covering that they laid out from the door all the way upstairs to the work site - she was also happy with the way they left the house (no mess no fuss).
Punctual - they call before every visit and so far every visit has been on time and I've never had to call to get their attention or find out what's going on. Also have not had any long waits to get something finished. They brought out a 4 man crew to get the job (complete HVAC system that had to be taken apart and reassembled in the attic due to access issues) finished in 1 long day rather than easily dragging it out over a couple.
Above and beyond - When Donny was connecting the wiring to the electrical panel he noticed that our pool installer had cannibalized the circuit for the original AC and he rewired the panel correctly (adding the correct breaker for the pool equipment) - no charge. Little things: When I mentioned to the scheduler that their phone number did not display their name (I phone screen caller ID due to robo calls) she had it fixed by the next time she called.

When Brandon (the owner) came out to inspect the final installation and make sure I was happy, I mentioned a couple trivial items and without hesitation he simply said ""no problem I'll have someone out next week to fix it"". The scheduler called to set up the followup less than 10 min after Brandon walked out my door.

Bottom line: if only all contractors were this good!

As each summer seems to get hotter than the previous one, we have known for about five years that we needed to get air conditioning. When I started to research the local HVAC companies, Conejo Valley Heating & Air really seemed to stand out from the rest, so I gave them a call.

When Greg came out to my house, I assumed he was just going to give me an estimate, but he actually worked with me to redesign our existing system. I have a medical condition that requires air conditioning, so he made sure that the vents were positioned based upon where I spent most of my time in the house. When he sold me the air conditioner (and new furnace), he didn't try to upsell into more expensive units that I didn't need. When it turned out that I needed all of my duct work replaced, asbestos removal, and a new electrical panel, he placed all of the calls to get that done prior to the install.

The install itself couldn't have gone better - there were 4 trucks and about 12 people at my house so that they could get it done in one day. They explained everything that they were doing and when a couple issues came up, they just fixed them without additional charge. Branden came by the next day to inspect everything, and the new system has worked perfectly since then.

Honestly, I would give them 10 stars if I could. The whole process from estimate to completion was done in about five days. Everyone that I dealt with was extremely friendly and professional. They have a customer for life.

This company was outstanding for us. Everyone involved in the process was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, and most importantly, straightforward. I had a number of other companies give me estimates that varied greatly with differing ideas on how to address the issue. Conejo Valley, however, was able to recognize the problem immediately and offer and understandable, honest solution. A big thank you to Jim, Branden, Ralph, and the crew for their excellent work. The A/C finally works great! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

We just had our air conditioning maintenance done by Craig from Conejo Valley Heating and Air. Such a nice guy! He was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. We have cool air now! And we are confident that we have properly cared for our system. Craig thoroughly examined everything. My husband felt that he was very trustworthy.
