In my youth, I admired my father's ability to repair anything and everything in our home. Whenever we set something out for disposal, he would rescue it and fix it up. I recall one Christmas when he crafted a full replica of Santa Claus in his sleigh with reindeer lights, which he mounted on our roof. In my mind, he was not just handy but a true genius. I wanted to follow in his footsteps, but being a girl posed a challenge. So, I set aside my dreams and pursued a college education. After finishing high school with top honors, I graduated from college and joined the corporate world. During weekends and my free time, I refined my skills and learned various trades. Over thirty years, I engaged in home improvement jobs of all types and ultimately created my own company—Concierge Renovations.
