Contacted Competitive Plumbing after reading positive Yelp reviews to fix a leaky toilet. The plumber that had been sent over by our home warranty company was very inexperienced and was reluctant to work on the unit, as it was attached to the floor by grout. I called Ken at Competitive, and he had a guy out the same day. They had done these type of projects before and quoted a very fair price. The day the repair was to be completed, Ken's plumber got hung up, and he came over himself. The project was completed within an hour without any issues, and everything is working fine. Ken went the extra mile and did a great job at a competitive price. I highly recommend Competitive Plumbing to all Los Osos residents.

I have used Competitive Plumbing a number of times.

The first time, while changing out a faucet on my own, the supply line sprung a leak and I couldn't get it to stop unless I turned off the water to the whole building. Jeremiah came out at 11pm and fix the leak at no extra charge for the time of day. He was pleasant, cleaned up after himself, and explained what he was doing.

I have called them since for my home and business.

I can't say enough great things about these guys. Ken and Bobby first helped us with replacing our broken water heater with a tankless option. They we're amazing to work with - knowledgable, fast, nice, honest. A couple months ago we had another issue and they came out, said they thought it might be a septic issue instead of plumbing. I appreciated their honesty in telling me that rather than just charging us for unnecessary plumbing work. Most recently, they came and repaired a leak that we had under our house. Ken came by on his way out of town just to make sure we were not left dealing with a leak over the weekend. Again they were quick, honest, great to work with, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!

Ken was referred to my by a friend when my water heater died on a Sunday. I just started a new job and in my probationary period. He worked with me to schedule a time that was convenient. We discussed options and costs, and he was able to fix my old unit quickly and affordably. I will definitely use him again!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I re-state that as I was not a customer, I called to try and get an appointment, no one answered, went to voice mail, NO FREAKIN CALL BACK, I used Jerry's Plumbing & heating, someone actually answered & I was able to make an appointment. No call back from Ken at competitive plumbing, sad way to do buisness, just a call to say you were busy would have been nice, BTW this post is 3 days after the fact.

I just had Ken the owner of competitive plumbing here to replace my kitchen faucet. Well, I'm so happy that I choose him. He's very professional, and his work is perfection. He really cares about what he's doing. No sloppy work from him. He even disposed of all the old parts. Left it nice and clean. If ever I need a plumber, I will be sure to call on him again. You too won't be sorry if you use competitive plumbing.

Ken (the owner) and Jeremiah were friendly, courteous and punctual with our appointment. They did a great job of making a warranty replacement of our Rreem water heater painless, even though they weren't the original installer. Ken was excellent at communicating to me all the repairs needed and provided a lot of good general information about water heaters. They were conscientious with cleaning up after the installation and were true to the original cost estimate (which was very fair). Replacing a failed water heater is usually a semi-emergency and a hassle, but Competitive Plumbing did their best to take care of us as quickly as possible and we were definitely impressed. Excellent and honest work at a fair price = we're definitely calling them for future plumbing work (including future water heaters) and are recommending them to all our friends!! Great local business!
