Recommended Customer Reviews

We'd done business with commercial fire for almost a decade at our industrial business in Snohomish County. They've been great until about a year and a half ago. We were due for a scope on our dry sprinkler systems and I tried for months to get that set up. Many emails between Commercial fire and the Everett fire chief led to pushing it off for months and they end up telling us they won't be able to provide any service for us any more. I had to scramble to find a new service provider so we could be in compliance and safe. Don't call Commercial Fire for a new account as they seem to have more than enough work even for customers that have been with them for almost a decade. Special shout out to their tech Will, hes great. (edit: read my review, realized my shout out for Will could maybe taken sarcastically. I'm not a fan of commercial fire, but seriously, Will is great!)

I have been doing business with this company for about 15 years. Recently I received mail that it was time for my annual tests and to please call to set up an appointment! I called and set an appointment for May 27, 2016. Today they called me and said they were no longer going to be doing business with my two properties! I called the service manager to find out what was going on and he was very vague as to why they cancelled my service! Now I have to start looking for someone to do my fire extinguishers and sprinkler system service! If you are planning on doing business with this company, beware! They treat their loyal customers like dirt!

We called Commercial Fire and asked them to perform a competency test on our hood fire suppression system. First, the tech rescheduled because of a Dr. appointment. Then the tech showed up earlier than expected so I wasn't here to greet him. There were issues with the hood system I was not aware of and he could not test until they were resolved. Rather than waiting for me, or coming back later, the tech became angry, unloading his frustration in an avalanche of verbal abuse onto my baker who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He left without leaving a business card or paperwork. Because of this, I called him to see if I had written something down wrong on my calendar. He began to yell at me, complaining about our system, how he wouldn't be held liable for it, how it was unbelievable that nobody was there when he arrived (even though he wasn't there as scheduled and only stayed for 5 minutes). I tried to be calm, explain to him we needed help fixing the issues, and asked him if they could do that. He told me he would call back because someone needed to come in with him to do the repair. I told him we could schedule him any time after 3 pm so he would have a cool hood to work on. He told me that wasn't good enough and we had to be mindful of his schedule and said he'd come in at a time that worked for him. He finally called back 5 days later while I was in meetings and unable to return his call. He called multiple times while I was unavailable. Each time he called, he spoke to a different staff member and became increasingly more volatile. He was rude and belligerent, and yelling at people that had just answered the phone to take a message. He had no right to treat them that way. Yes, we need to fix issues on our hood. But we were willing to pay Commercial Fire to help us get things back up to code. Instead, we were harassed for a week and got nothing accomplished. I finally had to call the office and ask them to tell their tech to stop calling me as I had no desire to work with them any further. When asked if he had done any work at all, I had to answer ""I don't know, he never would have a civil conversation with me."" Do not contact Commercial Fire unless you feel like taking on a fight, wasting your time, and being treated like a miscreant!
