Recommended Customer Reviews

Victor has installed a Flo smart water device, both in my current home as well as my previous home. He did a wonderful job -- cleanly adding a extension to the water pipes. He's responsive, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend.

I contacted Commando to diagnose our leaking dishwasher. Victor (the owner I think) contacted me on a Sunday, just a few hours after I requested a quote through Yelp, and offered to stop by to take a look. He was honest in letting me know that his company specialized in plumbing and the issue could be one that required a dedicated appliance repair shop. Victor showed up the next Monday early within the agreed upon window and quickly determined that the issue was outside of his company's specialties. I was happy to pay him for the visit but he generously refused to accept payment. For such great customer service, I would definitely put Commando at the top of my list for any future plumbing issues.

After reading the positive reviews I called & spoke with Victor, who was friendly and gave me a quote and we made an appointment. He never showed up and didn't call to reschedule, so I called for an update. It went to voice mail so I left a message and received no callback.

Victor is relentless in tracking down plumbing problems and repairing them quickly. He's smart, honest and prices his services fairly. I'm a builder and he's my go to plumber now.

I had a leaky 1"" water shut-off valve going into my home. I contacted Commando Plumbing via Yelp messaging and they responded quickly. Victor came to my house and looked at the issue and gave me an estimate for $540. The price was equivalent to other estimates (including one for $180/hr who estimated 3 hours) and I asked him to repair the pipe.
On the day of service, he called to say he was going to be early. He came to my house, was friendly, and repaired the issue by replacing the valve with a new ball valve. The result looks good and works as expected.
I'm taking two stars off because of the price. It only took him 50 minutes to do the repair. It's about $20 for a valve and a few more bucks for copper and solder. Let's call it $500 for 50 minutes of work. That's lawyer-level hourly wages.
I asked him if the cost would be lower because it wasn't as difficult as estimated and he said no, the estimate is the price. The invoice describes the work done but doesn't list costs for either labor or parts.
I can recommend Commando for the quality of work, but the pricing left me feeling uncomfortable. Make sure you negotiate prices beforehand.

I had requested a quote for this problem: ""Toilet base is leaking and standing water in shower. Toilet previously plugged on Monday.""
And I received a quote for $245-270. However, after servicing the toilet clog, Victor said it would cost another $263 to replace the toilet wax ring to seal the leak. Very unfortunate and disappointing.
I would advise potential customers to reclarify the problem(s) and estimate before the work actually begins.

I called Commando Plumbing last year for a quote on connecting bathroom downspout to the main pipe. Victor came and went to inspect the crawlspace. I wanted to say thanks to Sam for helping me deal with a dead rat in the crawlspace!
A few months later, my toilet got jammed up and disposal stopped working. I called Commando Plumbing and they were very prompt in replying. They came and fixed everything. They were very clean in finishing up too!
Would hire them again! Highly recommended!

These guys are amazing. Our sewer backed up and we had a house full of guests. They came out at 8pm at night for 2 hours and got us back online. I'm only using these guys in the future for all plumbing needs.

1.5 years ago my kitchen drain was clogged up. I called up Commando after 3 different plumbing services had come to the house and given me all types of excuses for not being able to fix the problem. Victor was the only one with the initiative to get under the crawl space and figure things out, opening the pipes at different points to see where the blockage was, and then actually snaking the tube clean from under the house. Through-out, he kept a positive attitude and was very professional. Would recommend him for any tough job!

I read about Victor on Nextdoor and decided to reachout to have him, first come out and look at the job. After reviewing the job, he came up with a very fair quote and upon arriving to the job, he encountered a small road block and he took it up as a challenge to solve and solved it! Very professional individual and would highly recommend him.
