Unable to provide specific service in a timely manner. When originally contacted assured customer timely and competent service on CARRIER products could be provided. Presently, 12 days since original request for service. False advertisement for purchase of service. It is totally unaccepted. Stephen has tried very hard. Repair still unfinished. No HVAC for 12 days is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.Unable to provide specific service in a timely manner. I had a problem with my HVAC, i called comfortech and made an appointment, the HVAC started working by the time they came out. They sent a tech, a salesperson and a trainee. Right from the moment the tech started to look at the outside unit he started to say the entire unit needed to be replaced there were multiple problems that were difficult to correct. They gave a written estimate for 3700 to repair with no guarantees and they were trying to sell me a service contract called the advantage plan for $200 a month for 10 years and they would replace the entire unit insde and out. I told them i would think about it and i would try and contact my realtor , ive only been in this home for a month and was advertised as a new unit. Finally found out the company that installed the unit ( less than 6 months ago) contacted them and they came out said the unit was working fine and that it was still under warranty. I then had a 3 rd HVAC company come out and check out the system. They went over the entire system for an hour could not find anything wrong and said it was working as it should. No one could say why the the unit shut off for 1 day and has worked since. I believe comfortech was totally dishonest in thier assessment and were not on a service call but a sales call. They also charged me over $200 for the service call. Please do not call this company , they are only interested in selling thier service plan which would have cost me around $24,000 over 10 years for a unit that is probably only $6-7,000 value.

My air went out at 3am Saturday morning. I called and SOMEONE ANSWERED! Not only did they answer in the middle of the night, she got me an appointment between 10am-12 the same day. The technicians Monterius and Billy arrived at 9! They installed a completely new unit inside and out, and was finished by 3:30pm! They were awesomeeee! My air has been blowing effortlessly since.

Woke up to no hot water. They sent a plumber out at no cost because we have the service plan. (Everyone should have this!) anyways, turned out we had a bad breaker so they sent their electrician out. Austin was very prompt and explained it all. Only took a short time to fix and we were back with hot water. I have never had a bad experience with comfortech.

Not trustworthy. Comfortech installed a sub-pump for my mom. Her house continues to flood and she has since been ignored when she has asked Comfortech for assistance in making it right. I would not recommend.

My initial review of this company was good, but I have since found that the technician who serviced my heater lied to me. He assured me (not once but twice) that he did tape a connection that was open where the heating ducts connect to the heater (or something like that). I went into the attic several days later and found that he had not done anything! I can not tolerate service persons lying to me. I lose all trust in them and the company. Ultimately a bad experience.

Called comfort tech because my heat wouldn't go on but my air still worked. 2 men came and one worked on it for quite awhile compared to how long they usually stay. The next thing I know they ask me if I have a fire extinguisher and go running to their truck to get one. Smoke coming up thru my vents. I am then told it has to be replaced because now my unit is completely ruined and wont even run my air. I knew my system was older but it still ran my air. So even if I had no heat here in Mississippi that's not a big problem. So because now my system is totally ruined I get a FREE service call. """"Gee that's Great""""! I call the office and am talked down too by some pompous guy who states. """"I know this is what you want to hear but your system was old. You got a free service call."""" I had dealt with these guys several times in the past but never again.

Just got a new heating and A/C unit installed by Billy and Kyle. They did a tough job with hard work and professionalism. The process was fully explained to me. Also, they made sure I knew how to operate the new unit and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Five stars! Cypress Lake Resident

This company replaced my HVAC last year and have maintained it twice annually since then. I accepted their offer for a free plumbing checkup because my hot water heated is located in the attic and it had never been checked. As expected, the water hearer had rusted through. Three technicians came today, on time, and replaced my water heater. They were cordial, professional and friendly. I will certainly use this company again.

I should've read the review here before calling them--same thing happened to me: They stated twice, on two separate occasions to two different individuals (my wife and I) that the service call fee would be waived if they did the work. At the end, when the job was completed, they said they would not waive it. I did not budge. Eventually the manager waived it. Also, be careful about up-selling. They keep suggesting products and services more than what you really need. The solution pretty much always seem to be """"replace the whole HVAC unit!"""" On the positive side, the repairman (Dan) was very nice and professional. On time both times. They call ahead and alert you of the ETA. Manager was very calm and professional as well. Apologized for the mistake. Wish the whole experience were as good as these.
