With a proud service record in the US Army until 1983, Art began his career in the home improvement industry. He owned a successful painting and flooring company. With 16 years of managing his painting and flooring business, he chose to a new area of home improvement. The heating and cooling sector was a natural fit for his passion for helping homeowners feel better in their homes.

With four children, Art understands the importance of ensuring the best in comfort and safety for families. On the family front, Art's two oldest sons also are part of the family business, along with his business partner Wes McLeod and his wife. Comfort First represents a family business.
