Founded in January 2010 by Wes McLeod and Art Harmon, Comfort First has grown to become one of the top contractors in customer service and. Now providing services to central North Carolina and the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Employing over 40 dedicated men and women and operating more than 30 trucks on the road, we strive to building clients for a lifetime by consistently delivering dependable service and comfort you can count on. Having proudly served the US Army until 1983, Art began his career in the home improvement industry. Previously, he ran a successful painting and flooring company. With 16 years of managing his painting and flooring business, he ventured into a new area of home improvement. The heating and cooling sector was a perfect fit for his passion for helping homeowners experience better in their homes.

With four children, Art understands the importance of providing the best in comfort and safety for families. In terms of family, Art's two oldest sons also are part of the family business, along with his business partner Wes McLeod and his wife. Comfort First is genuinely a family business.
