Our AC has been out for a week (a week today actually) and our home warranty folks (American Home Shield) gave us the number to this company and had put in a service request for them on 8/6/21. I called and spoke to Zack on 8/7/21 and explained what was happening. He told me that the earliest that he could get to me would be today, 8/9/21 at 0730. I agreed and we scheduled the service appointment for that day/time. Well, here it is 8/9/21 and 0730 rolled around with a no call/no show. They wouldn't answer my phone call but would answer a text (??) and I reminded them of the appointment and the only reply was ""8/11/21""....with zero further clarification but now they are trying to push our scheduled appointment day & time back 2 more days. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Do not waste your time with this company or with American Home Shield.
Its been 5 days since they sent out a guy that wasn't even an HVAC tech to my house. He was walking around aimless looking and talking on the phone with someone else. I'm assuming his dad? gave me no answers and promised to call in 3-4 days. They will not answer the phone nor call me back. I have repeatedly called but am getting no where. Anyway I would definitely avoid them if you want to keep your money. If I don't receive anything today I will be reporting them to the home warranty company as well as local authorities.
Eric T.No drama here. Had to troubleshoot some issues with my hot water. Found them on homeadvisor and they scheduled an appointment immediately. Provided expedient service at a fair price and more importantly solved the issue.
Andrew G.The biggest con of HVAC work. Thiis kid has no idea what he's doing. He'll bait & switch after you agree to do the work and then give you sub-standard materials and work. Stay away at all costs. Absolutely don't give this guy your money, you'll seriously regret it. This guy is an idiot. After my experience, several others have told me how bad his work is & that I dodged a bullet, at least part way. Two people told me they've been waiting a year for him to finalize the HVAC install he told them would only take 2 days.
Diana P.We've been pleased with the service provided by Tin Smith Mechanical Service. They have serviced our old AC unit and assisted with final installation and pressure check on a new split system. They are very professional and competent. You won't have a heart attack when you get the bill. Great service at a fair price, what more can you ask? Highly recommend.

They will try to get as much money out of you as they can,I called them and they charged me $700.00 to fix my problem and told me It would cost me $9000.00 to fix It.I said no but ended up paying $400 for the work that they did do without fixing my plumbing.
My elderly mother called Master Plumbers for a water heater that wasn't working because the pilot light was out. The hot water heater was not very old but the plumber (from Master Plumbers in Hobbs, NM) that showed up told her he couldn't light it and she needed a new hot water heater. He quoted her a price of $1500- $2000 to replace it. My nephew arrived while the plumber was there and he asked if the plumber had tried the re-set switch. My nephew then pushed the re-set switch and relit the pilot light with no problem and it is now working just fine. This company replaced some pipes at my parents house in Lovington, NM a few years ago and outrageously overcharged them. I also want to add this plumber had to walk right past my father (who is under hospice care and is dying at home in a hospital bed) to reach the hot water heater. This company is horrible and takes advantage of the elderly and anyone else that they think they can as well. I would given them zero stars if it were an option!!!
I recently bought a new washing machine and when I used it the first time, had water running from beneath it. Called Master Plumbers--the only company that answered the phone--and within two hours the dispatcher had sent a young man, Trenton, who diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate, and got the job done and done right. It involved more than we at first thought, so it cost more than we first estimated.
However, my brother operated his own plumbing business in Odessa, Tx for many years and I learned from him that repair plumbing is unpredictable at best, so I was not surprised to learn that there was no clean out pipe where there should have been one and that it was going to cost to get it put in.
Some customers seem to think that ""just anyone"" can be a plumber, but that's not true. Good plumbers have to be good at math, at precise measurement, and use of any number of complex tools. If they operate their own business, they have to maintain an expensive inventory. The job they do is both dangerous and often extremely unpleasant (think about what was in your commode the last time it stopped up). If they don't do the job right, your life could be in danger.
I will call Master Plumbers again and if I have a choice, I will ask for Trenton. He not only did a great job on the drain, he cleaned the floor in the laundry room! And I want to know how he's getting along with his four month old baby.
It's true it was expensive, but worth every penny to get it done right.
Peace and grace to each of you, Dorothy N. Fowler
Called out to look at plumbing at a friends house due to her not getting any hot water in the restroom and kitchen. It's been two days since they were called and supposed be here. So far it's been a no call no show.
I have used master plumbers in about three occasions now. The receptionist is very friendly and understanding. They come out initially, very quickly. Then they give you an estimate, and unless you do it right then, You will probably have to wait several days. When they come to work on it, they work quickly. They are expensive. When they fixed my tub, they must have dropped a tool and put a chip in it and they didn't tell me. Also, they had to get to the plumbing through the dishwasher area and I did not secure the dishwasher back so every time I opened it, it fell forward. I had to call them back to fix it. When I did call, they came very quickly and fixed it.
