Disappointed with the service I got from Comfort air. My AC would start spewing out heat. (I would reset the thermostat and would work fine for awhile.)Told them I thought it was the thermostat and bought one to install. The service guy was really nice and did some wiring and told me that the thermostat was just fine. I was surprised by that but paid the $385 bill. I returned the $45 thermostat to Home Depot. Wouldn't you know it 3 days later, it did the same problem. Spewing out hot air. Comfort air returned and said that he couldn't find anything wrong, but he would change the thermostat, if I wanted!?!?!?!? (And he is the expert?) He had one I could purchase for $70. This was a very simple thermostat for dummies and not close to the medium grade thermostat I had purchased previously from HD! So he changed the thermostat, which I had said from the beginning was the problem. BINGO. Hasn't skipped a beat since. I was charged $370 for that visit. I feel that I was seriously taken advantage of and I was very disappointed cause my husband had been a union sheet metal worker and worked very hard and was on their best workers, always saving money for his companies and involved in big industrial jobs. I was trying to stay union for his honor, but I will not use Comfort Air again. I should have refused to pay the second bill. Outrageous!! So $750 for a thermostat. I should have watched a You-tube video and done myself!! I too, was charged a big travel charge.

If this is the right comfort air own by Wilson Monzo avoid them about a year ago my ac went out by sister in law recommended them the only think the guys did was replace thermostat charged me 500.00 I called them back they never got back to me thief's

Only good experiences with this outfit. Our old AC broke down about six years ago, and two other companies couldn't identify the problem and submitted much higher bids to replace. Comfort Air was quick, reasonably priced, and efficient, and the unit works great. They didn't try to sell us an entire new HVAC system like other outfits did. Only one minor repair after six years, and that was handled quickly, responsibly, and efficiently. When we need to replace our now 40-year-old furnace, we'll definitely call this company.

Bought unit 1-1/2 years ago from comfort air..,..two non function of unit since then. Today was the last straw: they came fri., hour travel time rate from Lathrop to Linden $122, + service call. Came today to put a new blower wheel. $122 travel again plus labor: $ 427 total! That travel charge is b.s. I thought it would be best to use the company I bought unit from for any problems......we'll never ever again will I use COMFORT AIR

had them come out to fix a/c unit all they wanted to do was sell me a new unit....after telling them replace switch or leave they did. now six months later had to cancel my credit card as they are charging me a monthly service fee had called twice to stop had called bank who could not help had to fax letters to company happy to out the six months if I never have to call that rat shit company again do not sign anything before or after you read it
