Very disappointed I feel like because my daughter and I were females we were kind of being taken advantage of. The tech came took a quick look at our unit said it was our special kind of fan that needed to be replaced and I was going to cost us $1200. Come to find out it had nothing to do with the fan at all it was the drainage pan that was not draining properly so the water sitting in it which was very rusted was pulling up into our coils freezing up our AC unit causing the fan to lock up. Once it would defrost the AC worked fine then it would freeze up again and it would stop. Consumer beware.

I don't review businesses as often as I probably should but these guys really stood out as far as service, value and availability! A property of ours in La Quinta had AC issues yesterday (leaking water and unit struggled to keep up with high temps) so we called Comfort Air. Not only were they able to come out to the house the same day within a couple hours of my call, but they serviced the unit, fixed the issue and communicated promptly with us all the while. It was honestly the best AC service we've experienced since living here in the desert. They have been added to our speed dial!

Paul Mitchell at Comfort Air, the Man who worked on my AC, Not the ""hair guy"", and Paul Votta, The owner, were by far the best decision I have made choosing an Air Conditioning/Heating Company. I am beyond ecstatic that I chose them!! They were kind and caring, number one! Completely honest with me about everything, and as a woman, I know, this could go very wrong if I felt I would be taken advantage of. They have Great Prices and hard, honest work. Omg our AC went out in Palm Springs 110 outside.
Immediately called Comfort air conditioning for service.
The technician Paul arrived within hours.
Fabulous inspection process. Motor went out !!
Ouch circuit board too.
Paul to the rescue. He explained the entire process and made me feel comfortable making decisions
without my husband.
Paul ordered the parts yesterday ...
Fixed today. Paul you are a great employee.

It was 116F(!) and my air con stopped working. They were here on time and luckily it was an easy fix. The bill was reasonable. I would call them again in a heartbeat. Friendly service over the phone and they quickly got my air working without charging an exorbitant amount. Can't ask for better than that.

Had a great experience with Comfort Air in replacing our 40 year old AC. Paul gave us our estimate and personal number to reach him when needed. It was a great price and included available rebates from SCE. The guys who installed our AC (Alex, Felipe, Allan) took really good care of everything including removing and re-installing our washer/dryer so that they could get access to our very tight space. Everything was left clean, and our AC was back up in running in about 6 hours before it got too hot inside. We had a minor issue that they quickly corrected the next day coming first thing in the morning at 8am to make sure all was up and running correctly. Thanks everyone at Comfort Air!

I took 3 bids to replace my air conditioning unit in our Palm Springs home. I spoke with Paul over the phone regarding his proposal and decided to go with his company based upon the quote's thoroughness and amenities included that no other company had provided. The crew arrived promptly and began the project in a quick and efficient manner. Paul stopped by my house to meet me in person and to check on the job's progress.
