Ron R.The Staff here are all EXPERTS and extremely knowledgeable in all facets of plumbing. The men at the counter were very friendly and wanted to help me as soon as I walked through the door. Great customer service! I needed to replace a set of faucet bonnets that were no longer made. The Techs at Comet told me to save my money and that they would re-build the bonnets with new seals and mount screws and that it would take 30 minutes. Well in less than 15 minutes, I had both bonnets repaired and in hand. The cost came to less than 3.00! I love these guys!!!
The customer service here is good. Watch out if you get the wrong part 15 day return policy and no return without a receipt. Even if you can show the charge. It took them two weeks to find my part. It was the wrong part. The cost was $19.00 for two shower seats. My plumber came to fix my shower and informed me wrong seats. I went to take back. They would not take them back or exchange them for correct seats.
I am a general contractor who also is a homeowner. I have come here many times for work and home, and have always been able to get not only great service, but the right information and supplies. They have saved me not only a huge amount of time, but also a lot of money by providing me hardware and tips to make any job much more efficient and I don't have to worry about call-backs. Remember, if you see a place like this which always has licensed plumbing professional trucks parked out front, there is a reason it is their go-to.
I should have wrote this months ago when I went but the business is such a joke I still have a bad taste in my mouth for it almost half a year later. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to help me and the owner seems to be preying on retail customers by overpricing everything just to make a buck. I would recommend Home Depot or Lowes anyday over Comet. The employees didnt seem to excited to help either. Avoid at all costs.
I bought a beautiful kitchen fixture. It was the last one in polished finish & the guy had a problem scanning the product. He said they'd had that problem wih it. Maybe that's why the box was so dusty. It had been on the shelf for awhile. I had it installed on July 5th & it leaked under the sink. My handyman found the problem was a ring that looked like it had been chewed by a rat. We went to Lowe's for a new o-ring, since Comet was closed.
I called the 5th and was on the phone for 14 min b4 being told they were very busy and the mgr would call me regarding a credit. Today, I waited till 1010 b4 calling again & was told the mgr, Ken, had just walked in. Long story short, I can't even get an in store credit for the future purchases I had planned on making. I told him any retail business would offer an in store credit, if not a refund. He was argumentative. He wanted the product back. Hey, Ken, it's attached to my sink. My handyman says I was sold a defective product & they knew it. This is very unprofessional!
I'm a not so skilled DIY'er and they have steered me straight many times. I'm pretty sure they have an awesome employee making machine out back. Avoid the big box stores when it comes to plumbing stuff, you won't be sorry.
Go There First! Comet Plumbing is the only place I'll go when I have plumbing issues.
Earl Hunt always has the right answers. Never, ever go to the big box stores when you can go to Comet!
Excellent customer service. Had the parts to repair a leaking faucet in my hands before I even explained the problem. Was even provided some helpful tips for the repair.
Jeannette R.Love Comet Plumbing. Local outfit with hard to find parts. If they don't have it they'll direct you to who does. :) really helpful in-store help.
Dan C.This place is great. I was working on a difficult plumbing project, got stumped, and Lowes was no help with PVC parts. I walk in, get immediate service, immediate instructions, and the parts required at better prices then the big chain hardware stores. A plumbing supply business owned & operated by plumbers. I needed a couple parts they didn't have in stock, and they gave me all the info on another business so I could finish my project. Recommended!
