I had a very major clog in our house caused by roots in the main line in front of the house. Andrew reached out within an hour of me filing a request on Yelp and came by to look at the issue shortly after. He used a camera to diagnose the issue, and we created a plan for installing a two-way cleanout and doing a trenchless replacement of the line in front of the house. He helped fix a very stressful situation quickly, and was great to work with throughout the process.

Reasons Andrew stood out:
1) Really prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.
2) Didn't try to over-sell me. Gave reasonably priced solutions and tradeoffs of different approaches to fixing. I insisted on a larger upgrade of the plumbing system, and he was able to work with me on my goals.
3) Fast - was able to do a very major plumbing job the next day.
4) Quality - the work was done flawlessly. He left the area clean, and did a very thorough job with permits.
5) Price - he did the work for a very fair price.

It's hard to get excited by a plumbing system, but getting to see the high quality work Andrew completed and knowing it's a solution that will likely outlive me makes me feel ecstatic. Will definitely call him for all future plumbing needs.

Comet plumbing helped us with an emergency when other plumbers took a holiday. Then they helped again on a scheduled visit. Prompt, professional, effective and contentious, both times!

Had a backup on main sewage line while having a party on a weekend. Andrew came out to do a routine cleanout but my sewage line was damaged and had a severe discontinuity. Nothing I didn't already know. I've had at least one backup and cleanout every year. Each and everytime, a plumber shows me the tape. It had progressively gotten worse. I finally decided to get it fixed once and for all. He stayed through the day, was able to get one of his workers over and started digging. Did I mention it was raining and it was a Sunday. Was able to at least have it usable that same day. Very courteous and professional. Great communication. Offers fair pricing. Available on weekends. Definitely will use again for future plumbing needs.

We had water heater issue in our condo. I called Comet and Andrew said he will be there in half hour and was there before that waiting. He just told me that since it is leaking it need to be replaced. The install looked very complicated since it was in a small closet and is used for space heating also. I consulted few plumbers and Andrew was the only one who was promptly returning the call and tried his best to get the unit in one week. The workmanship is excellent and we are very happy with this work. It has been one week since we installed our new water heater and it is been working great. While going through the heater issue I understood how difficult it is to find a good plumber and I must have called more than 10 plumbers. Our experience with Andrew in terms of work or cost or dedication or honesty was excellent.

Our bathroom had water seeping out from the toilet base. The toilet seal to the drain had broken. This is something I wanted fixed quick.
