I called Andy from Comet plumbing for changing a part of the sewage line which was getting clogged by Tree roots. They gave the best quote for the job. They were fast, efficient, took care of the city permits, and did a good quality job. My problem is fixed permanently now.

We are very pleased with the service we received from Comet Plumbing to replace our sewer line. Comet had been recommended by a number of people on NextDoor, so I contacted them for an estimate. Andrew responded quickly, and of the three estimates I received, his was the best price. I also felt comfortable that he understood the job he was quoting, where I didn't have that confidence in one of the other vendors. He was able to do the work quickly and actively followed up through final inspection.

I contacted Comet and Andrew responded very promptly. I needed my sewer line checked out with a camera to see if it needed replacement. I also wanted the drain in the garage sink checked out as well. Andrew gave me a quote over the phone and we fixed a time and he showed up promptly. He ran the camera and gave me very practical advice on next steps and followed it up with a quote the next day! He also jetted out my sewer line to clean out what he could. He also checked out the garage drain and informed me that he thought it was running fine and did not need to be rooted. Very satisfied with his service and would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Very happy with my new plumbing service:
Our house was overdue for a line clean out where drains kept backing up, and I called Andy for the work. He had openings earlier than I was ready to be home to have the work done! 1) easy to schedule the job, 2) friendly and informative on the phone and in person, 3) on time for the job, 4) prompt work and cleaned everything up well, 5) drains now flowing properly!

Andy replaced a cast iron sink with a stainless steel one, installed a pressure regulator valve, and installed an expansion tank (two plumbers, about 5 hours of work). In addition, he fixed a leak and went into the crawl space to inspect for other issues. The plumbing was old and it ended up being a much larger job than expected. Andy worked through all of the additional issues without adding any charges. His website self-describes him as hard working and honest -- both of which I found to be true. In addition, he was patient and a really nice guy.

I'd hire him again without hesitation.

I arranged a repair for my brother's house from far away and it was very easy to communicate with Andrew. He was always very responsive. His prices were reasonable and he got the job done in the time he thought he would. My sister-in-law said he was nice. We'll call him if we need another repair.

My water heater dead right after new year. I guess it's a great way to start a year?! I reached out Andrew on Yelp and messaged back right away and set up appointment within two days. While other plumbers/sales showed up giving us ridiculous price and one even can't tell the difference btw circulation pump and power vent, Andrew give a pretty reasonable price with great knowledge and quoted a good replacement model. Unfortunately we went with Home warranty company and end up in a nightmare. He will be my go to plumber if anything goes wrong in future. Thanks again.

Andrew was very accommodating by fitting me into his schedule when we had some clogged drains. He was very pleasant to work with. The drains were cleared in a timely manner. The only disappointment was that he didn't have a smaller tip with him to also clear another line while he was here. Andrew came back on a later day and finished clearing the remaining line. We appreciate that he was efficient and tidy.

I had a very major clog in our house caused by roots in the main line in front of the house. Andrew reached out within an hour of me filing a request on Yelp and came by to look at the issue shortly after. He used a camera to diagnose the issue, and we created a plan for installing a two-way cleanout and doing a trenchless replacement of the line in front of the house. He helped fix a very stressful situation quickly, and was great to work with throughout the process.

Reasons Andrew stood out:
1) Really prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.
2) Didn't try to over-sell me. Gave reasonably priced solutions and tradeoffs of different approaches to fixing. I insisted on a larger upgrade of the plumbing system, and he was able to work with me on my goals.
3) Fast - was able to do a very major plumbing job the next day.
4) Quality - the work was done flawlessly. He left the area clean, and did a very thorough job with permits.
5) Price - he did the work for a very fair price.

It's hard to get excited by a plumbing system, but getting to see the high quality work Andrew completed and knowing it's a solution that will likely outlive me makes me feel ecstatic. Will definitely call him for all future plumbing needs.

Andrew is great! After a few days of trying to fix a plumbing issue ourselves, we weren't sure if we had resolved the issue, so we decided to give Andrew a call.
