Rob (the owner) made his way (first thing of his week, next day of my call) out of his 10miles circle of service for me as a first time HTP customer and served my thankless high sophisticated combined unit more than perfectly. First he came punctual, very nice attitude, open to oversee his work immediately, worked after listening of the problem, , free to teach, and figured out the problem in less than 5min: clogged drain filter and outlet/trap. The cost are reasonable, charged only the work time and was overall an extreme nice and successful repair-visit. He knows extreme good the instrument and was ""operating"" it like a car: Very caring in fact saved my life!! by adjusting it to perfect burning conditions. It was a really (unfortunately uncommon) extreme nice and beautiful definable satisfactory experience which I had long time not had. He is the only HTP (and perfectly knowledgeable as well an enthusiast) of HTP equipment (best boiler on the market). Extreme highly recommendable!!

Leo and his plumber in training Cody did awesome work on a complex project. They said what it would take, kept busy the whole time and came in slightly under budget. Responsive, fair pricing, professional, friendly attention to detail, came prepared by reading manuals in advance. You can't get any better than that. For the same project, another Needham plumber looking for easy money disappeared down the driveway never to be heard from again after promising a quote.

We moved into our house four years ago and Colpitts is the only plumbing service we have used - they are fantastic! Their customer service is always great and they know their stuff. Leo in particular has always been wonderful.

We had a boiler issue and they came out on a Saturday, quickly diagnosed the problem and helped us out.

I contacted them for repairing a faucet and snaking a shower drain (which was not really clogged, just got it done since they were there). According to them the job took 2.75 hours. I was charged over $664 for two people and it included a part cost for $189.00. I did not think the job needed two people. Although they got the job done, I thought I was way overcharged. If you hire them I would suggest you first get an estimate before giving them the job.

Kitchen plumbing sprang a slow leak, due to my own less than perfect pipe sweat. I discovered the leak in the basement below the kitchen at 3:30pm the day before July 4th. Called Colpitts and Robert was at the house by 5pm and resolved the leak within 30 minutes. Thanks again Robert! M&K
