John and his business partner partner were very responsive. I needed to repaint my whole house and they did a massive amount of work in four days. They also painted places that were hard for me to reach like a high above the stairs and ceiling. Highly recommended.

Completed a one room job with ceiling and crown molding. They were efficient and helpful. The corners of the crown molding could have been done with more precision but overall they did a good job for a fair price

I could not have been more wrong about John. When he first painted the house, he told us he'd change the color back when we moved free of charge. Well we moved, and he demanded we pay him $150. Since we were in a rush to move out, we paid him. He did the absolute sloppiest job I've ever seen. The property management company came in and took these pics, and told us it was absolutely unacceptable and we're going to have to pay for a real professional to do it. We're still waiting for him to give us back a refund or at least a partial refund.

The reason I even gave him a good review to begin with is because he gave us a stupidly low price for painting - $300 for 3 floors. I ended up helping him midway and correcting a lot of his errors because he thought it would take him 1 day (LOL - I told him he's out of his mind, it ended up taking 3 full days, with me helping 10 hours). It's obvious he's a slop shoddy handyman at best, with no painting knowledge or experience. He even had to call his friend for painting advice.

Because of the steal of a price, we hired him to install a sliding door and put a couple hooks in the ceiling (to hang a swing chair and some planters). This took him all of 45 minutes and he had the audacity to charge us $300! I said absolutely not, I'll give you $150 (which is already a lot, but I figured it would cover some of the mis-pricing of last time). He accepted this as fair since I brought up the discrepancy in his price per hour since last time.

Since the last paint job mentioned at the beginning of this review, he's blocked my number (after telling me he'd give me a $75 refund for the poor job we had to pay a real professional to re-do). I feel bad being so disparaging but the truth hurts and if I can save someone else from experiencing this catastrophe of events, I will. Find someone else.

Please save your money. Repair whatever you need yourself because it would be better than what this man does. I needed the bottom 18 inches of my wall repaired and now because of him I need my entire wall redone.
He is running a scam where he wants you to pay in cash or venmo so it is untraceable. He tried to refuse my check as a form of payment and THEN CALLED SAYING HE ""LOST"" THE CHECK from the front door to his car in the driveway! Demanding we write another check for him on the spot--just so he can scam you out of some more money.
The ""work"" he did is terrible. He half assed put the sheetrock up and didn't want to putty the wall. I wish I could give him 0 stars. When I asked him to refund me my money, he said I was ""lucky"" he did the work he did. Disrespectful and rude to his clients when I need a remedy to the mess he made.
He also knocked part of my gutter off when parking his car in the driveway, left trash, and did not wear a mask while working.
He refuses to return my money and wont respond to my messages. He should be embarrassed at how he left his ""work"".
Do not hire this man for anything!

John came to see the project and gave a very reasonable quote. He also came on time. Very good communication. Did a nice job of painting outside of my house. Price was well worth it. Can recommend him for painting.
