I called Brian and he came out the next day to find a leak that I had been trying to solve for nearly a week and already had another plumber look at. He charged me for a minimum 2 hour visit $500 and was there about 1:45 and DIDN'T FIND THE LEAK. He incorrectly identified what he thought was the leak, but didn't even pinpoint it, just said it's coming from behind this drywall here somewhere in this area from outside the foundation. Also, he showed up with a flexible scope for looking behind walls that was NON-FUNCTIONAL. He charged me $500 and his equipment wasn't working. Based on his advice, I spent 2 full days of back-breaking labor in the January cold digging out along the foundation, cleaning, and sealing. There was never any significant crack, just a seem that I sealed. To my dismay the leak returned a couple of days later. After the leak came back, I texted and called Brian and complained that he did not correctly identify the leak and asked him to come out again without an additional charge. He never responded. I spent hours tearing out drywall and even some 2x4s and cleaning the area thoroughly until I could identify where the water was coming from. The next morning, it finally became clear that it was coming from the humidifier on the furnace and seeping under the furnace room wall and puddling in the next room before I could find it. I corrected the placement of the water tube and the problem has never returned. Based on his advice, I spent days ""fixing"" a ""problem"" that wasn't really the problem and ended up diagnosing the source myself based on simply using a level and observing how the water was flowing. Not only did he waste $500 but more importantly days of hard labor and I still have torn out drywall I need to replace. Avoiding that kind of distraction and destruction was the entire point of calling him.

The technician seemed cool and informative, but he was way off on his detection with my in ground pool. Said he would come back and help find the leak if there were issues, but completely ghosted me after he got my money. After months of calls and texts I heard nothing from the company.
From what I hear there's is a lot of shady leak detection companies out there and this is one of them.

Brain is amazing! We live in Edwards, CO and brought Brian in to find a slab leak where his competitors failed. Brian was on time and brings a wealth of plumbing knowledge and state of the art equipment to figure out your problem. This was a tough leak on our hot water side that was under a foot of concrete and under a wall. He found the leak and recommended a repair company who showed up that same day to give us an estimate for the excavation and repair. I highly recommend Brian for your tough challenges.

Brian systematically checked out all possible line irrigation and control valve problems within our system. Within a very short period of time, along with all of his state-of-the-art equipment and knowledge he was able to locate and correct our system failure!
Needless to say, Brian's expert knowledge resulted in a quick solution to a possible, much larger cost to the homeowner.
Our experience with Brian's work not only included all the skills required for resolving our problem, but he also honest, thorough and professional in every way.

Working with Brian and CUD has been an absolute pleasure. The man knows his stuff (former plumber) and has about every piece of technology you could imagine to find and trace any leak you need.
After I noticed the leak and confirmed that there was one via the city meter I checked all the normal spots. No visible indicators in the house, the basement, or unnatural ground saturation so I had a strong suspicion that it was the feed from the meter and down deep. Brian was able to detect the leak (distance & depth) in under an hour. The leak happens to be under the sidewalk and Brian was able to determine which section of the sidewalk to remove.
If you have a suspected leak, use Brian to pinpoint where it is. Most plumbers will require this, but if you want to save the most money then you need to get as close as possible to the source and Brian and his gear will get you there.

Thirty-two years of building and I've never had an underground leak, but now having had to fix one, I highly recommend Brian and Colorado Underground Detection. Knowledgeable and professional, this service pays for itself with accurate locating of water line leaks. With their help, we were able to avert expensive ""exploration"" attempts to find a water line leak and minimize de-construction costs. I am grateful for the services provided and superior professionalism and expertise in conducting the work.

Brian from Colorado Underground Detection is one of the most professional, honest, and quality-focused contractors I have EVER worked with and I highly recommend him when you have a water leak. He has state of the art equipment, he is experienced and knowledgeable, and he is a man of his word. Absolutely 5 stars for Brian and Colorado Underground Detection!

Brian at Colorado Underground Detection is the consummate professional. I had a leak on an enclosed balcony within a condo unit - really difficult to figure out from where the water was coming. Leaks are tricky, but he understands them and took the time to help me understand.
I recommend him without hesitation. He is prompt, he is reasonably priced, he does what he says he will do, he has first rate inspection tools, etc. Great experience.

Great to work with! I was looking around for somebody for a while and very happy I ended up going with Brian. Very professional and easy to work with. Went out of his way to explain things. Thanks, Brian!

I was in the process of purchasing a home in Denver and was told by my real estate agent that I should hire someone to determine if there were any big utility lines running through the property or the possibility of leaks. He suggested Colorado Underground Detection which was a wonderful choice. Brian was right on time, easy to work with, affordable and was able to show me actual images of the utility lines that he found. It was nice to not have to wait around my home for three or four hours for a plumber to show up. I was also lucky enough to have any leaks. I would suggest Colorado Underground Detection to anyone that is in need to leak or utility detection!
