Abe is amazing! We have been doing the worlds longest bathroom remodel. So at the point we reached out for yet another professional to come and help we were pretty frustrated. We just moved to Colorado from the East and bought an older home that turned out to need a lot more help than we anticipated. For one thing, almost immediately our swamp cooler was not operating. We have no experience with these systems. Abe came over the same day I called. Instead of just fixing the problem, he took the time to explain to us the mechanics of the system, and how to efficiently operate it and maintain it to keep running properly. Since Abe is a Master Plumber, we asked him to take a look at our old boiler while he was here. Unlike everyone else who heard the age of the boiler, Abe did NOT recommend a complete replacement, but rather was confident that he would be able to keep it running until we were ready to replace it with something more efficient. Bottom line- Abe took time to listen to the problem, explain the solution, and factor in our budget. He also very clearly stated his pricing upfront (quoted all-in rate, not hourly) and did not press for a ""sale"". You get what you pay for, and although Abe's labor rate may be higher than a technician's, you will be confident of a job well done by an owner who stands by his work.
Bottom line- if you want a HVAC professional who is knowledgeable, skillful, and willing to work through your problems with you- I would highly recommend you call Abe at Colorado Plumbing and Boiler Services.

Hi - My hose bib ruptured and I had a flooded living room area - wall and carpet. I called Abe at Colorado Plumbing and Boiler Services to replace the hose bib. I thought he would have to go through the drywall to access it. After he inspected the area he discovered it was actually behind the gas fireplace so he had to go through the tile work surrounding my fireplace. I was really impressed with how Abe handled my tile. He carefully chipped away at the grout work and pulled off the tile pieces so that they wouldn't break. He explained exactly what he was going to do and made sure I understood what was happening. He also offered suggestions on how to patch up the area. He showed me the old hose bib after he replaced it with the new one. He put on shoe covers when he entered my house without being asked to do so - he was really respectful of me and my home. He laid down a sheet and vacuumed up the area after. His company is new but he has been doing plumbing for quite a while and seemed really knowledgeable. I am glad my neighbor recommended Abe and suggest you call him to! His prices are lower than his competitors.
