I would give CH a ten, if there was one on the ratings.
My home was flooded and in complete disrepair. CH men and women restored my entire home in the most professional manor. They were so prompt. They ACTUALLY came to work when they said they would. Unheard of with other companies.

I, also, made many good friends in the process. Kudos to Anthony, John and, especially, Juan. Although I have my home back in better condition than before the disaster, I have to say that I miss the good conversations I had with your staff.

I have spread your name to everyone who asks about my home.

Thank you will my whole heart and God Bless you all.

Pru and O'Con were very professional and solved the problems they were presented with. Not only that, but they also gave future advice and answered all questions. They helped clear a faucet that was down to a dribble, and replaced a broken faucet with a new one that didn't quite fit, so they used power tools and all to get it to fit. They were both very friendly, and fun to have as almost like visitors in my home!

We contracted with Colony Home Services shortly after the tornado on May 22, 2024. John was the one who came out to give us an estimate on one thing that needed to be done and when I found out that Colony Home Services did all the repairs we needed, we contracted with them. John was always great to work with and Anthony and the office staff as well. They were very good about returning texts and calls. Our insurance company was extremely difficult to work with and caused all of us a lot of whoa. But they got hung in there and got the job done and it was quality work. Thanks, Colony Home services!

This company did an outstanding job repairing our water damaged home (due to plumbing issues). They are very respectful, trustworthy, and complete the job as quoted. I would highly recommend them with any work needed with your home. We felt very fortunate to find them and plan to use them again!

I had a great experience with this company today. They were sent out through my home warranty and they were professional, explained everything to me (I know nothing about plumbing), were efficient, dealt with everything with my home warranty on the spot and didn't make more than one trip to fix my issue like some technicians do, and came at the beginning of their time slot.

I will absolutely use them again if I ever need them. Until then I will recommend them to all.

We had massive mold infestation in our two story, 4129sf home, and had to replace three HVAC units and all ducts. Afterward, we had 22 large holes in our ceilings where ducts were removed, and three areas where drywall had been removed in our walls. The damage was extensive. Our remediation company, Blackhill, in Austin, Tx recommended four construction companies. One company sent a representative and they never called back. Another gave us a bid, but the next day the owner emailed to say that his company couldn't do the job. Too big of a job. We interviewed John Flores, the owner of Colony Homes Home Maintenance and repair services. He was not intimidated by the amount and difficulty of work, and said we would never the know anything has happened. I didn't believe him, because the damage was so extensive. But, we hired him anyway because we were becoming desperate. He sent in a large drywall crew. They arrived the day he said they would, and quickly, over a two day period, squared all the holes, and put up the drywall. The next day a large drywall finishing crew arrived, and spent a few days on the massive amount of work. Then John sent in a large painting crew which essentially had to repaint the entire house. Then he sent in a large cleaning crew. Literally, everyone of the crews was impressive. The worked quickly, were friendly, and communicated with us in a way that caused us to have confidence in them. The bottom line is that John delivered in ways that far exceeded our expectations. I was wrong and John was right. We couldn't tell anything had happened. Now, I'm 72 and have worked with a number of contractor type firms, and I don't remember one of them who met my expectations. Yes, I'm a perfectionist, but I'm fair. John far, far exceeded my expectations. And we really liked him. Hire him!!!!! I'm leaving my name and location. Call, if you like. Jeff Kendrick, Cedar Creek

I really cannot praise this company enough. Rian is perhaps one of the best employees I've ever encountered. He ensured that my place look decent while taking care of a leak.

Came out here on my schedule to help me with a problematic situation. He scheduled a construction estimator the same time he was there.

I'm well on track on having my repairs fixed in under 2 weeks.

Home warranty send this service to our house to unclog the kitchen drain, but the technician was not able to unclog it after 4 tries. We paid the diagnosis fee, and this service also collected payments for repair from the home warranty, but nothing is fixed. Basically this service collected payments from both parties but didn't resolve the problem. The home warranty case manager was assigned and recalled the same service to us within their rights (because home warranty paid repair fees already), however, when I called and spoke to a lady (receptionist) today, she was extremely rude, refused on the phone, saying they requested hydrojet but home warranty refused to pay more so they aren't doing it, and she said it's standard procedure to charge both parties, she ended up losing control and yelling: ""call your warranty, call your warranty, call your warranty!!"" And hung up. I have never dealt with anyone one the phone being so rude and not professional. I can see a reason to decline service before collecting payments, but after both parties paid already, then declining further service ( recall ), and so rude and unprofessional, is not common.

I would not recommend Colony Home for any work on your home. We used the company for a mitigation job at our home. Throughout the project we were given deadlines and promises that were not met. We were promised that after the mitigation was complete, Colony Home would repair our home in 2-3 weeks. Instead, they took 2-3 weeks to give us an estimate and then let us know that they could not start the work for at least 2-3 months. We felt like we were being constantly lied to in order to get our business. We found the project manager John to be abrasive and not very pleasant to deal with. Overall, we did not have a very good experience with Colony Home.

John Flores and his crews are A+ in my book. I would definitely recommend Colony Home for any and all your damage-related repairs and remodeling.

We had water damage that occurred in our upstairs bathroom and the water leaked through the floors and into our kitchen. We were out of the home for two full months while all of the mitigation and repair work was done. We had to replace the entire wood floors upstairs, carpeting in two rooms, ceiling and wall repair, and a great deal of painting. John worked with our insurance adjuster and fought for us every step of the way. When the insurance tried to cover as little as possible, he coached us and helped us understand what rights we have under our policy and how to speak to the adjuster to advocate for ourselves to get the home back to ""pre-loss condition"". By the time the estimate was presented and reviewed, our adjuster covered everything that was asked for: temporary housing, food, gas, milage, tolls, etc. We stayed at very nice AirBnB and VRBO homes during the two-month displacement and were able to continue our normal routine with the kids' schooling and programs and with my work. John kept us and the adjuster updated with all aspects of the project. When there were delays with materials (which there were because this happened during Covid), he made sure we were all aware so that we could ensure the housing situation was not going to be impacted and we could stay where we were without having to move unnecessarily. When issues arose, John handled them very professionally and fairly. There was an incident where my back door deadbolt stopped working. I brought it to John's attention and was convinced that the cause was linked to his crew somehow (I went with the whole, 'it was working fine before you all started working on the house and now it's not working' mindset). John and I discussed it at length and he agreed to cover the cost of replacing the lock. He hired his locksmith, Ben the Locksmith [who is AMAZING btw], and when Ben came to perform the repairs/replacement, he was able to show me that the lock stopped working from normal wear and tear. The timing was just coincidental but it was the end of the life of the lock. Feeling horrible that I blamed John's guys for something that was not actually their fault, I apologized. John told me not to worry about it that he'd take care of it. I offered to cover half the cost of the repair, but he insisted. This showed me how much of a fair and honest person he is to work with; going above and beyond when he doesn't have to. We only experienced two other major incidents during the remainder of the project, and John took care of them fairly and honestly. By the time we were back in the house when they were all done, it was like when we first moved in after buying it; had that ""home sweet home"" feeling. Our insurance adjuster even commented at how easy it was to work with John from his point of view and that he hoped to work with Colony Home in the future as a preferred vendor on future claims work.

Special shout out to the guys from John's crew that did exceptional work during the project:
Ron Ferguson @ Floor King - made the entire floor-buying experience so seamless and stress-free
Ben the Locksmith - great guy; very knowledgeable about all your locksmith and security needs
Roger - built the bathroom cabinets that replaced the ones that were damaged. Also replaced a wood trim that went around a recessed wall where my TV goes that had gotten damaged. Did an amazing job with that work and was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Mark the plumber - love this guy. I was very impressed with how well he does his job and his overall pleasant attitude and humor. Mark is super cool.

Appreciate your professionalism, expertise, and the heart behind why you got into the business in the first place. You fight for us homeowners every step of the way. Thanks, John!!
