We've been using Collins for years for all our AC needs. We initially hired them in 2008 to replace our AC systems. They fully explained all our options & once we'd made a decision, they installed them in a day with as little disruption as possible. All the techs were friendly and professional. When there was a slight problem a week or so later, they came out asap & fixed it right away with no extra charge. We had them service our units once or twice a year from then on & they never sent anyone to our house that I was reluctant to let inside; all their techs are not only clean & professional but when they needed to explain something, they were very kind about getting my husband on the phone & talking to him. When they came to do our spring checkup this year (2020), Denny explained to us that our systems were getting old (which we suspected anyway) and that they either needed a lot of repair work or replacing. He was very detailed in explaining & showing us just what was needed, yet didn't try to sway our decision or upsell us at all. When Collins sent out Kyle he looked everything over himself before he even sat down with us to go over our options. He spent a lot of time going over what our choices were and, like Denny, did not try to persuade us either way. When we opted to replace with new units, the techs that were sent were very clean, professional, and completed the job in one short day - about 7 hours or so - and we have 2 units. Jose was the head technician & he was very knowledgeable, friendly, & we again had a very positive experience with all the Collins employees that were sent to our home. I would highly recommend Collins Comfort for any of your HVAC needs - I know we will always use them as long as we live in the Phoenix area.

Collins was an amazing company to work with. Our sales rep was Neil Chrisney and he did a fantastic job of reviewing our system and explaining the options for replacing our two units. The Costco discounts made a huge difference to the overall pricing and made our decision very easy. Our install team of Jose, Matthew, Hector, Jesus and Chris G. were equally amazing. They contacted us before arriving and were even a few minutes early, which was great. It was incredible to watch how quickly they tore down the old units and installed the new ones. They uncovered flaws in the duct work design and tore out the bad ones and installed new ones. We bought our house new 18 years ago and the upstairs has never cooled properly. Within an hour, the upstairs felt amazing. I am so happy with the whole process, start to finish!

Let me just start by saying Collins installed my new system a few years ago through Costco and did a great job. It is their service department that this review is based on.

They serviced my new unit for the first couple of years but the technician the second year told me it needed about 5 pounds of freon ($300 extra dollars) and said the unit had an unbalanced blade. Given the age of the unit, I feel these were unnecessary expenses and, if they really were true, should have been handled under warranty. I have never had them service the unit again.

My new technician has never found any problems with the unit and said the ""unbalanced"" vibration was just from a loose panel which he tightened for no charge.

So, let them install but don't trust them to service it

The former owners of our home leave us a list of businesses they recommended, called Collins Comfort at 5:00pm. They said they would be there at 6:00pm to service our A/C unit. Got a text, An appointment has been scheduled between 5:00pm and 11:59pm. Never showed never called. Called the next morning and No return call!! They must not want repeat customers.

I had a 3 ton mini-split system installed in my house garage. There were 2 technicians and a helper doing the installation and another person showed up with extra parts that they needed. They did a great job cleaning up when finished and as a little test, I set the thermostat at 82 degrees. I didn't expect much as the air handler's fan speed was quite low. I came back the next day to see my two thermometers reading 82 and 81.9 degrees. Remember, this was in my garage. I love spending time out there now that it's a comfortable climate. My technicians were Jose and Anthony. Thanks guys, I'd give you a 6 out of 5 if I could!

We had a water heater installed at the beginning of March and Collins Comfort Masters did a great job. They installed a new water heater in a timely manner and Brian did a great job repairing the sheet rock base that the water heater sits on. After the heater was installed, the kitchen faucet was not working and I called Collins Comfort Masters and the plumber came right back and got it working. I am very happy with the service I received.

The Collins team worked with Multi-Pro Roof Solutions to remove our old heat pump and install the new Lennox unit after the roof was replaced. Anthony, Edgar and Trevor did a very nice job and with the installation and I am happy we chose Collins. The Lennox Heat Pump is very quiet compared to the York unit that was replaced. FWIW, I am a retired HVAC service tech.

Our air conditioner died. After calling Collins Comfort Masters and sending out a technician ( Chris ) it was discovered it took a turn for the worse. I ordered a new Lennox air conditioning unit and within a week it was installed. Chris was the lead man and helped me understand the whole process. It took about 7 hours but they cleaned up and left my house spotless. Explained the new thermostat and were extremely professional and kind. Thank you!!

Absolutely the best! I had a couple plumbing problems. Cameron, Master Plumber, offered possible solutions, and I chose the ones best for me. Cameron and Brian (Bryan? didn't check his name spelling) took care of every little detail. Effortless, efficient, couldn't ask for anything better. This is customer service at its best - so rare these days, and greatly appreciated!
