Talked to several AC dealers including Collins, before making my choice. They were very professional and did a fantastic job from the sales to the install. Installation was on time and they did a great job of getting the unit installed even on a very hot day in as little time possible. Installers were very polite and very professional. UPDATE: Stephen came out to do a check up on our air conditioning units. I was kept up to date on the arrival time for the service call, and when Stephen arrived he was patient while I explained our concerns. He was thorough when checking the attic and a/c units. He answered all of my questions and didn't pressure us to buy anything, which was a huge relief. I really appreciated how easy and stress free the entire process was!

We had Matt with Collins Comfort Masters come out to fix a leak in our bathroom. Both the office and Matt were great at communicating, and updating us on the expected time of arrival for the service call. I really appreciated that so that I wasn't stuck at home all day, like with most companies.
The repair was done quickly and Matt cleaned everything up when he was done. Overall exccustomer experience!! I will definitely be recommending Collins Comfort Masters to our friend and family.

CCM installed my new A/C system quite a few years ago. I stopped using them for some reason but can't remember only that it had to do with customer service. I started using them again a few years back. I even subscribe to their maintenance plan. They called me to schedule my spring check up and was scheduled a window from 4-7 on 6/14/19. I left work early so I could be home in case they showed at 4. I waited and waited. 7 pm came and went. Finally, I'm getting ready for bed a little after 8pm and the technician calls to say he is on his way. I said, ""you were supposed to be here by 7."" He said, ""didn't anyone call you?"" No one called me. It would still be a half hour before he would arrive. I told him don't bother. They kept calling me and leaving messages to reschedule.

I finally called on 7/1 to reschedule. The woman I talked to tried to tell me I would have to pay for the visit. Uh...no...it's covered in the maintenance plan. I'm not paying. Besides, what nerve! They made me miss work for nothing. Anyway, she checked and said, oh yes, you're covered. I'll note it on here and she scheduled me 4-7 for 7/11, or so I thought. The next day I get a call from Julie because she sees that the technician didn't log the call for my scheduled visit on 7/1. OMG! The lady that scheduled me put in the wrong date! So Julie made sure I was scheduled for the 11th. Left work early that day to make it home by 4. Guess what? It's 6:30 and I figure I better call. The lady I talked to says, ""Oh, he won't be there until after 7."" They were so busy she forgot to call me and I guess they were so busy last month too that they forgot to call. I am fuming at this point. I told her I want half of my maintenance plan refunded. She said she would have someone call me the next day. No one ever called!!

So, on a side note. On one of the visits to my house, the technician tells me I overpaid for my system. He said I paid $1k too much just for the Trane label. He said if you pull the Trane label off it's the same as American Standard. You know, I let that ride at the time. It didn't sit well having a company rep telling me they screwed me out of my hard earned money. But I'm done now. I want my money back and if they give me a hard time, I'm going to lose my s#!t. It's not like I'm asking them to reimburse me for the 2 hours of work I had to miss, just what they failed to deliver. There are too many companies out there to put up with this crap.

Once again, Collins has proven itself to be the best HVAC contractor in the Valley. I'm a longtime customer of this business, dating back to 2005 when I had an AC emergency in my previous home in Chandler on a Saturday evening in mid-summer.

Since then, I've purchased two units from Collins and have used them for all maintenance. No upsell, no unnecessary work. Just an honest company doing a good job.

Yesterday, our 2-1/2 year old unit purchased from Collins started blowing hot. I called and a technician was on-site in an hour and a half. The tech's name is Anthony and he's a great guy. And he really earned his pay yesterday, having to drive to Phoenix to get a needed part for our unit. All the while he kept me in the loop as to what was needed and the estimated time of completion, which went into the early evening.

The piece de resistance was that Collins management decided to comp our repair, estimated at $1300. Our unit was six months out of the warranty period, but Anthony and his boss decided to save us the expense, as Anthony put it, ""standing by our products"". I've never seen that kind of gesture from any business, ever.

Needless to say, I'm glad Collins Comfort Masters is our AC contractor, and I'll never use another company as long as we live in the Valley. Great service, caring employees, good value. This is what American business should be about. Well done and thanks, guys.

I am not sure who our tech was (I wasn't home) but we were very pleased! Our AC went out on Sunday night, I called and the answering service picked up. I didn't want to do an emergency call so she said someone would call me back in the morning. To my surprise, someone called me back within 5 minutes. She was very friendly and walked me through what we should do with our ac unit until someone could come out. Then she was able to get me an appointment for the next day! They arrived on time (with a call to let us know they were on their way). He was able to tell what was wrong within minutes (a capacitor) and fixed it really quick! He also checked out the unit and let us know that we will need a new fan soon but we didn't need to do it right away. This was a pleasant surprise because I was expecting them to tell us we needed a whole new unit. It was nice to be told the truth instead of them just trying to make money. I believe the price we paid was reasonable and I was satisfied with the timeliness of everything! Thank you so much!

Price rating 5 star, A/C adviser specialist Chuck 5 star, Quality assurance Matthew 5 star, Lennox HVAC performance 5 star. Only thing amiss was the installers 2 stars. Got larger system so intake filter box was enlarged, installers did a very rough cut and several inches oversized, cracked ceiling also from attic (misstep), left the hole unsealed where the new,larger line set was ran through the exterior wall leaving a path for rain water to enter and damage the interior wall, left small amount of debris in the attic and replaced my 18"" R-8 rated return duct with 20"" (enlarged for upgraded system) R-6 rated duct.Ceiling was perfectly repaired by Stewart, Matthew system checked for any other deficiencies, the day after installation I sealed the line set hole w/foam filler (easy $6 fix), I'm going to replace the R-6 return flex duct w/round metal duct for increased flow which negates the lower rated duct installation, Matthew removed the attic debris and the system works great as Chuck said it would. Yes I would employ Collins again and recommend them as well, everyone makes mistakes once in a while and Collins kept their word.

Have a service contract with Collins. AC had a problem and had them out for a look. They determined a new indoor TXV Valve was needed and quoted $1,300 to repair. This is on top of a previous repair 15 months ago that cost $1000 for a new coil and fan blade.

I didn't have them do the repair. Thank goodness.

I called a few other AC repair repair companies and got prices which were less than half the Collins price. And, the competitors also determined the unit was still under the manufacturers warranty, so I only needed to pay for Labor.

I called PAUL (service manager at Collins), and asked them to review and re-quote and look into why we needed another expensive repair so soon after their work. Paul promised to look into this, but provided no return call.
I called a second time and asked for Paul and/or a manager to give me the information and revised pricing. Again... no return call.

I have cancelled the Collins service contract. Waste of money.

I had the repair done by a certified YORK dealer (Matt Browning) for only $450. They did a wonderful job, cleaning the unit and checking all other components to ensure a complete job. $450 is 1/3rd the price of Collins. And the other company drove over 100 miles round trip and still did it for a very nominal fee.

My view.... if you need HVAC work, don't go to Collins Comfort Masters.
If you have a service contract with them.... CANCEL it. It is meaningless.

Collins clearly have so much business that they can't be bothered to deal with their regular customers who have a service contract.... especially if you question their pricing.

Collins Comfort Masters are bad business people in how they deal with their customers.

In a place like AZ, you can find plenty of other companies willing to do the work AND with far better pricing and customer service

We had Collins Comfort Masters do our semi annual check up on our HVAC system. Our guy was great. He shared with us information on air filters, the best temperature to run the system on, flushing our hot water heater, and info on an add on to our system which can improve the air quality in our home.
He also serviced our in laws home as they are selling it. This included 4 systems. Their garage unit wasn't working, so he serviced that too. He went above and beyond.
I always feel confident when Collins services our air conditioning and heating system. We've been using them for almost 5 years now and I've never been disappointed. Keep up the excellent work!
