I had used Jimmy Cash Plumbing in the past, due to a do it yourself project that ended up in a water line break. It was after hours but they rescued me in a time of need:) They were reasonable, professional and efficient. Jimmy the owner actually came that visit. Most recently had a water leak and decided Google and my do it yourself efforts would likely not go well, as indicated above. I called made an appointment. Sadly, no one showed up for my appointment and the answering service was taking the calls. The next day I called and was disappointed, they apologized, rectified the problem, came out on a Saturday and fixed me up. When you know a company is reputable you give them the opportunity to make it right. I did, I couldn't be more pleased. Jay is a very professional service manager and plumber that did the work. I would recommend them to all of my friends. I will be hiring them for future projects. They are local, they are professional and my go to plumbers. Thank you.

Save yourself the headache. Called on a Saturday to schedule an appointment. First available was the following Tuesday morning. They were going to call 30 minutes prior to the appointment. Tuesday morning comes and no phone call. Afternoon comes and nothing. Call the company several times only to finally discover they use a call service that answers the phones for multiple companies and the only action they can take is to send an email. It's now the end of the day on Tuesday, so I've called DeWolfe's Affordable Plumbing and they'll have someone out in the morning.

I am having a horrible experience with Jimmy Cash. He installed drip irrigation for me, no explanation how system works ...nothing. When you ask questions, he talks and talks and talks but not actually giving you the answer to your question. We are having issue with the drip irrigation, phone calls, voicemails - no response - Two appointments - No body showed up or even called to let us know that they will not be showing up. Horrible "I don't care, got your money in my pocket ... who the hell are you? attitude '"

I originally chose this plumber because they had positive reviews, but my experience was different. I hired them to replace a water line between the city equipment and my house. After having it replaced I found out they did not reconnect the sprinkler system to the water line. They just broke he connection and left the connector lying in the water sprinkler housing. I called to have them return and fix it and they refused without additional payment despite my having a 5 year warranty. I was forced to hire another company to make the repair and sue Jimmy Cash Plumbing for the amount i was out, which I won. They did not get a permit and inspection from the City of McKinney which is a requirement. If they had done this, it would have been caught when they were making the repair. So buyer beware.

Couldn't have been more happy with service I was provided by Jimmy Cash. My wife and I were experiencing foundation issues caused by our old cast iron plumbing. Jimmy Cash was able to replace all of it, do it on a quick schedule, and provided us with a fair price.

Beyond that, their representatives were incredibly professional and went above and beyond. These things can be stressful, but Jay was there to answer our questions at all times and walk us through everything. It did't matter the time of the day, he was there to help.

If you want trustworthy people that are always looking out for you, Jimmy Cash is the way to go.

Jimmy Cash plumbing.. What can I say? Absolutely the most professional, knowledgable and friendly plumbers I've ever met. We had three other bids. Jay and Jimmy(yes the owner even came out) spent three hour diagnosing our issue and determined we needed less work than the others quoted. As a matter of fact, when they exposed the pipe others claimed was broken, it was solid as a rock!

I don't usually write reviews but in this case I am.
I first started my search with those that advertise and
offer a COUPON but saw so many negative reviews.; Nix that (Always google)

I then searched for a local plumber. I am really happy I did
I found Jimmy's Cash Plumbing. First: the young lady
in their office is very courteous and professional.

Ask for Jay he will provide outstanding service. I was
not charged for using home Depo parts and at no time
was I UPSOLD any services that were not required. I was
happy with the work, the professionalism and service
provided by Jay.

Did I mention they were local to McKinney?
The prices they quoted for the services provided were
spot on for what they charged,(yes I researched what
kind of prices to expect of the job; online.
(don't you just love Google?) I definitely recommend Jimmy's'
and will always ask for Jay plus I plan on using their services again.

Jay, replaced the bulb, fill valve (cracked) and pump, plus
a new shut off valve that had shredded due to age. Not easy work
nor is it 15 minute job. Jay thank you for the great work!
I am happy I went with Jimmy's who was LOCAL and for Jay's excellent work

Chris came by and swapped out a couple of faucets for us today. Friendly & fast with no extra problems mysteriously arising half-way through. Will use the company again, for sure.

(I refuse to comment on price because all plumbers are expensive, you guys)

$49 later (quote charge) and I was given a $965 quote to install an inline water filter. This price was for labor only. Very disappointed and will not call again.
