Wow.... is this even a real plumbing company? We set up an appointment for a $49 special to have our hot water heater flushed. The tech sent to our house ""identified"" a gas and carbon monoxide leak coming from the water heater. He was not very familiar with gas lines, so he shut off the gas line and got onto the phone with his supervisor to troubleshoot.... Good job by him, he was actually doing his best and none of this review reflects on him. It reflects on the predatory, scummy, and pure scammer routine being run by the ""Supervisor"" who ultimately is a reflection of how this company operates.

This is where it gets really good. The supervisor communicated over the phone to my wife, without being on site, that we needed to replace all gas lines at our house for the safety of our family and it would cost $22,000. But DON'T WORRY WE CAN START RIGHT NOW!!! AND DON'T WORRY, WE CAN FINANCE IT FOR YOU (likely would be a predatory high interest adjustable loan that is secured by the home)... The questions the supervisor likely asked his tech were.... ""it's a woman, right?"".... ""there is kids stuff at the house, right?"".... YES AND YES - PERFECT PREY!! LETS GET HER!

Enter the husband on speaker phone.... within 15 seconds, the price dropped to $9k. ""But don't worry we can fix it today, turn your gas back on, and we'll turn it back off before the city inspection next week"".... (not sketchy at all right).... I told him, thanks for your feedback, I'm going to get an additional opinion and some quotes for the work to determine it is really necessary and this is the right price.... That's where the Scammer (Supervisor) became desperate and asked ""What price does it need to be for us to start now??!?!?""... Uhm... WHAT?.... So we've gone from a $49 water tank flush to $22k to $9k to NAME YOUR PRICE in the span of a few minutes.

I called SDGE who sent an extremely helpful tech out. There was 1 loose gas valve that he tightened in 5 seconds, and he said ""I wouldn't even call this a gas leak but I've tightened it"". No other natural gas leak of any kind after extensive testing. One spot on the water heated where the venting was improperly installed that was resulting in some carbon monoxide leaking at low levels in our garage - pretty terrifying stuff, and ultimately I am thankful for the tech who came on site and identified it. He was not an expert on this stuff and truly did his best - I appreciate you dude. But tip to you, find another company, because this one is scum.

I called on a Thursday and got an appointment time for the following Monday. They were to come between 2 and 6 PM. At 5:20 I received a call saying they needed to reschedule and they weren't going to make it. They rescheduled for that Wednesday between 4 and 8 PM. On Wednesday Around 6:30 I get another call stating that once again they will not be able to make it. They wanted to reschedule for the following week. Obviously I would not reschedule for the third time realizing they are completely unreliable. Don't choose this company if you want somebody to actually show up.

Rip off. Took advantage of our other plumbers emergency and quintupled the fees. Then coerced and supervised an online rating. Workmanship didn't last. Will never use them again.

This is a very unreliable company! Called Colepepper Plumbing to come see why the tankless water heater they installed was not producing hot water 100% of the time. We made an appointment July 3 and the day of called an canceled. We rescheduled for July 10th and around 4:30 I called because no one had shown up. The person I spoke to said they had called me earlier to say they could not show up but I never received a call from them. My husband called July 12th and stressed it was very important someone come out because the problem had gotten worse. They assured him someone would come out right away after this call! It was again a NO SHOW! By this time I was already calling other plumbers. Last straw today, July 15th, my husband called again and spoke to Tori. She could not find on her computer what was going on because there was NO RECORD OF US EVER HAVING MADE ANY APPOINTMENTS! Seriously!

Colepepper plumbing has canceled four appointments back to back and has now proved to be unreliable as a professional plumbing company. I scheduled a drain cleaning & water heater tune up and they have canceled each time hours after they were supposed to arrive. This has happened on four different days within the last two weeks causing me to reschedule just for them to keep canceling. They provided a good service for me LAST YEAR now they have permanently lost a returning customer. Please consider a different company before relying on these guys...

We've had two appointments with this company. Both awful.

The first appointment we were given a 4 hour windows. They never showed up. Calling them about this they told us they canceled it without telling us. A waste if a day for no reason.

The second appointment we we told another 4 hour windows of 8Am to 12Pm. Again, they never showed up. We had plans at 1:30 with a group of friends. We made those plans with the idea that even if the company came at 12pm, they'd have 1.5 hours for a simple snake job. Again they never showed and couldn't give us a reason why. We had to cancel with our friends after they kindly gave us extra time to meet up with them since we had no idea these plumbers would stiff us again.

Do yourself a favor and do not book with these people. ?

Overpriced by at least double. Be sure to get a written quote for all work in advance. If you don't.... You'll be SORRY!!!!

I've was a longtime major dollar client. Today I have an emergency situation needing my only toilet replace. they text me they're booked until next week. so just ignore their claims of emergency service. I went with Mauzy who installed my new HVAC system and they'll be here soon.
