Billy came promptly the next morning to snake our sewer line for the toilets not to be backed up. We appreciated that. However the price charged - $782 - was ridiculous.

We made an appointment for a clogged kitchen drain. We were given a 6-hour window of when they would come, which I felt was too long of a period to make someone wait for a serviceperson to show up. After 5 1/2 hours, the plumber came and snaked the drain, but said he couldn't unclog it. He said we needed to hydro jet the drain. After calling a supervisor, he said the cost would be $1,600.00. We said no.

We then called a company that unclogs drains for $41.00. They came and within 10 minutes, cleared the drain. The plumber said that was good news because if it had needed hydro jet cleaning it would have cost $1,000.00.

So, it appears that Colepepper Plumbing can't clear drains and if they do, they will overcharge customers for something that should have cost $71.00.
They have nice commercials but there is a wolf lurking under that sheep-like façade in their advertisements.

Absolute scam artists - buyer beware.

I hear their advertising on the radio constantly for their $71 drain cleaning. So when a clog happened to me from my washing machine drain I figured I'd give them a chance. When the plumber arrives he tells me it looks like he can't just snake the drain. Will need to hydro jet the thing and it's going to cost me $1800+. He goes forward with the service and tells me all looks good and even did a review of the rest of the unit's plumbing which apparently looked great.

Not only did he not fix the problem but made things significantly worse and on the next use of the machine it flooded the entire unit. So I bring in a different plumber who takes a look and, go figure, can snake the drain and get the remnants missed by these amateurs.

So not only did they scam me by upselling to something completely unnecessary but then caused thousands of dollars of damages to my unit. I will do whatever is in my power to make sure they are responsible for these costs. Don't ever use these guys and as someone who works with hundreds of real estate investors I will go out of my way to let them know NOT to ever use Colepepper.

Do not use Colepepper plumbing!
We were advised by our insurance company that we needed to install an auto seismic shut off valve for our gas line. We were not aware of how much these valves might cost. So when Colepepper gave us a quote of $4986 we assumed the valves were costly plus labor. We agreed to let them do the work. The next day, when speaking with a friend who had just installed a similar valve on a home twice our size for $895, we called Cole Pepper, and asked for an itemized receipt as our original receipt only had the total as if in a package. We wanted to see where they came up with the $4986 total. My husband called several times and was receiving continuously the bottom line with no parts or labor shown. I wrote the owner who asked that we notify him before we post a negative review so that he could help. He never responded. It is our belief that they came into our neighborhood and felt we could afford any price and took advantage of two seniors! Beware of this company!

Andrew L. came to our home today to install a kitchen faucet and do come plumbing upgrades under our sink. He also got the fixtures for my washing machine replace! From the moment he arrived until the jobs were completed, he was so professional and knowledgeable & we could not be more satisfied with his work!! We will definitely call Colepepper Plumbing for all our future plumbing concerns!!

Billy from Colepepper Plumbing came out last week and installed two new toilets for us. Billy was so professional. He gave me a quote for the installation, showed me how the angle stops had rusted out and offered to replace those too. As soon as I signed the paperwork, he got to work and installed two toilets and replaced all the parts that were rusted and corroded. Billy was so nice to work with. He was friendly and professional, patient, and just a really nice person to have in the house. He completed the entire job in just a few hours, hauled away all the old stuff, and left everything totally clean. Perfect job on installing the new toilets and was so easy to work with on everything. I would definitely call Colepepper again because they hire very skilled people like Billy, who are also a pleasure to work with. We will request Billy for our next job with them!

Technician Billy came out to diagnose why our washing machine kept flooding. He arrived with a friendly attitude and got right to work. Turned out a previous plumber had left a test balloon in out drain system. Removed it and was on his way. Total bill: $0. Love these guys. Great service both times they've come out.
