I recently had Cole service install an air condition system in my house with a deal thru Costco. I was told by Vince that the deal was going to be 1 year no interest and no payments for that year. Well guess what he is a liar, i just received my statement thinking i didnt have to pay anything and i was suprised to see i have to pay 528 a month. I also was supposed to receive a 1000 dollar gift card from Costco and i have yet to receive them. I wish i didnt buy this dam unit and stay away from them. VINCE is a liar and wont call back. Oh by the way there always late

My feeling about Cole is they are very very high priced. Here's the story. The gardener knocked on the door and said, ""You're water is leaking from the water meter."" The water company came and said, ""It's your responsibility."" My wife called three plumbers and Cole was the only one that was available and came right out. The pipe burst by the water meter because of the impact of a tree root putting force on the plastic pipe. There were three guys working, one doing the selling and talking and two actually doing the work. The job took between two and three hours. I calculate (generously,) 3 men x 3 hours x $100 hour = $900 + $100 for the copper pipe. Our bill was $3450. I asked for an itemized bill (parts plus labor) and I was told, we don't do it that way. So for a job I generously value at $1000, I was charged $3450. You can get the same work done for a lot less money

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY! BAIT-N-SWITCH seems to be their way of doing business.
Here's why:
I'm a real estate investor and I have done lots of works on houses. I do have my own crew and work regularly with a contractor.
I called Cole for a clogged drain on a property we just fixed up. They have an advertised special for drain clean out for $79.00. At that price, it's cheaper than renting a ""snake"" from Home Depot. My crew was working on another project, so they were not available to assist me. So, I decided to call Cole.
Call center rep was very courteous. I called at nite around 11 pm for next morning appointment.
Around 10:30 next morning service rep (Jesse) showed up and was being very pleasant at that moment. I explained to him the situation. That's when his attitude suddenly changed. Instead of looking for ways to fix the problem, he started looing for faults on the property. I played along.
He tried the ""snake"" to unclog the drain line. Pulled-out some root balls but failed to unclog it. Reason why: he used the smallest""snake"" line possible to clean up a 3 or 4 inch drain pipe.
He recommended a video scope to locate the problem exactly for $350.00. Upsell anyone? I complained about what he did and he could have done. His excuse for charging that much was because he's gonna call someone else from the company, and the $14,000.00 camera is brand new.
I played along because the house was sold and this issue needs to be taken care of ASAP. I asked Jesse what would happen next, he suggested re-piping the main drain line. The cost: $3000.00-$5000.00! I had a drain re-piped on a different property for $600.00.
At that point I drew the line. His response was his company HAS to charge as much as they possible can because of overheads and see if they can get way with it. More like RIP-OFFS!!!
He also mentioned that he & his company don't really like to deal with people like me or contractors alike. Why? Because we can tell when they're trying to rip us off!! He further mentioned that even the $350.00 video-scope is not even worth it because they know I would not let them charge me $3k-5k re-piping the drain line.
So, we scheduled for a video-scope to be done @ 3pm the same day. @4 pm nobody showed up, not even a call from Cole's call center. When I called them, they told me that the other service rep (Zach) was tied up. Really????
Anyways, that was the last time I would do business with Cole Plumbing. Be very careful, they prey on innocent homeowners who don't know any better.
Please, just AVOID THEM!

They wanted almost $1800 to replace a valve on my air conditioner because it was leaking. I asked if there was a less expensive alternative. They said no. I called someone else who tightened the valve,(stopped the leak) at no charge.

Of course I was upset at Cole for not offering me a quick inexpensive solution that should have been obvious to them. I reported this complaint to Cole's customer service and they said that they don't resort to compromise solutions just to get me by temporarily.

It's up to them to decide which solution they offer to me. But if I specifically ask if there is another less expensive solution, and they say no when the answer is yes, I have a problem with that for the obvious reasons.

I have used Cole once to fix my ac that went out a couple of weeks ago. It worked for a while after fixing a switch, but then it stopped working again. I called in the evening since I work long hours and no one called me back. So I called to schedule an appointment, and no one showed. They called the wrong phone number apparently and just didn't show up or call the other contact number. So I waited, called to reschedule, meanwhile having to rearrange my work schedule, and again no one showed. I just called and it was scheduled for the wrong day.

The customer service people during the day are quite rude and would take no responsibility for the previous conversations, since they were not the ones to screw up the schedule. So, basically, I am out money and the so-called guarantee is total BS.

It's not even about the money, it's about the fact that they just do not care. Should have done my research on Yelp. Shame on me and shame on them. Sad excuse for a business and pathetic customer service.

Heed my advice, do not use them unless you like to throw away money and be spoken to like a child.

DO NOT CALL THEM out for any repair at your house.

Over price and horible service. Bad attitube. A $100 task, they would charge over $600.

If they come and you change your mind because of their high estimate, they would charge you $50.

I've learned my lesson the hard way, I hired them to fix the leak and ended up hired another company with half of their price to re-fixing it.

I repeat, DO NOT CALL COLE PLUMBING.

Only interested in replacing complete A/C unit... The dispatcher was friendly and helpful, and a technician arrived as promised in the afternoon. Technician was friendly and neat, and proceeded to troubleshoot why my A/C (inside house) blower motor was not working. His diagnosis was the control circuit board. He did not have one with him and said he could let me know on Monday (this was Saturday) the price and availability, ""but it would be at least $1,000"" he said. He then started to tell me the best thing to do was to replace both (upstairs and downstairs) complete units at $4000 to $5000 each ! My house is only 10 years old. I sent him on his way after paying him $89. I called an independent A/C guy who provided the board for $250 and installed it for $59. Bring your wallet if you use these folks...

I gave this company a really poor review on my first experience with them. What I really appreciate and respect is when a company attempts to rectify the problems they have with their customers. Their representative L. Reed took the time to look into this matter and has gone above and beyond to address my concerns.

There is one thing that they did really impress me with. They were the only company able to respond the same day during this past weeks heat wave.

Cole services sent out a technician who had less than 2 years of on the job training to check on my air conditioner. I was tol that the freon in my unit was completely dry and need about $440 of freon. During the service I called my brother who has 40 years(in the Las Vegas area) of AC experience, He told me that the line for the freon had to be vacummed of all the air before PUTTING FREON IN A COMPLETELY DRY SYSTEM.. I asked the technician if he did that and he tole me no because he use the ""short port on the unit.My brother said that no matter how you recharge the system, there is air in the system that needs to vacuumed out..SO now I have air contaminated freon which is not able to cool effeciently. Cole calls me back and says there is no warranty on the freon. I told them that it was charged with freon improperly and it was thier technician's lack of knowledge that cause the problem in the first place. I am now getting no recouse for this inept service and out $440 for nothing!.

This is my second year to schedule with Cole services as I am only available on he weekend. The first year got cancelled because they said that the technician was injured so they are rescheduling 1 hour prior. But of course I cannot wait because of earlier engagements and so I cancelled. Now it is the 2nd year, and the same reason. I would not recommend these guys to you as they will just waste your time and they will talk BS to you.
