Beware , these guys are ripping you off , my tenant called them to inspect the kitchen sink, they came out with a quote for over $1000 to clean the drain , I refused the service and called my plumber same day service for $160. When I looked at the estimate I was shocked . Total nonsenses . They can get you pretty good just do your homework and call around if you have to , I am pretty sure there are tons of honest legit companies out there .

This review feels redundant to all of the negative reviews that have already been posted about this business, however I thought I would share our experience as well to warn others of how Cole operates. We had them out to look at our AC unit back in 2022, it was an old unit and pretty shot, so we knew we would likely need to replace. For context we called Cole without doing much research as they were the ones who had installed the original unit at our house with the previous owners. Cole gave us an estimate and we agreed for them to replace the system for just over $17k. Flash forward to today, less than two years after the brand new unit was installed, we noticed water leaking out pretty heavily from the unit pipes. We call Cole to come out and inspect/repair. Two guys come out, pull open the panel, bend one of the metal panels, say that they'll clean everything up before they leave. After they inspect it they come in to deliver the ""bad news"" that we will need an entirely new ducting system installed and they'll do it for $12k! They gave some story about how just after they installed our new system two years ago the manufacturer started telling them that for older ducting it must be replaced along with the unit because of how efficiently the air pushes through with the new unit and that was what was causing our issue. Naturally we were upset and skeptical, given they never mentioned this when they installed it and the fact the we had just paid them for a brand new system less than two years prior. We said we would need a day to think about it and we would likely get a second opinion. As soon as we said that, the guys bolted out, didn't even close our garage door or clean up the oil, water or panels they had removed. Super suspicious. We got a couple of second opinions. The verdict: our system was not leveled properly when installed (among other issues from the install, including the wrong size furnace for our system), therefore the water and water sensors were not draining/running properly, causing the unit to flood over time. Nothing to do with our ducts! And the repairs cost less the $2k. I'm very glad we got other more professional and more honest opinions. We will never do business with this company again and neither should anyone. Just really dishonest and poor business practice. Avoid this scam at all costs

Total rip off artists! Scammers! Our air conditioning system stopped working. Cole Services came out and tried to sell us a new coil for $7,000. Then we called a different company for a second opinion. It turns out we didn't need a new coil. We simply needed a new water pump for a few hundred dollars. It makes me question the work that Cole Services did for us a couple years ago. Back then they claimed we need a new furnace. In hindsight we probably didn't even need that! Not only did we get suckered into a new furnace a couple years ago, our different company guy that came out now said that the furnace we were sold is a totally low grade model. And we paid Cole Services a lot of money for that! Always get a second opinion!

Hector Baltazar was the air conditioning repair person that graciously showed up late in the evening to fix my air conditioning. He was friendly and diligent. He was thorough and worked until 10:00 pm to make sure it worked before he left. He put up with my very obnoxious dogs which is always appreciated.

Awesome and knowledgeable technician, but their customer service people on the phone will scam you and tell you there isn't a service charge. A service charge will be required at the end of the job even if the job it's fixed.

This company is scamming their customers I called them to fix my AC the lady who answered my call never disclosed $89 service charges a technician by name of Victor showed up he was confused for the first 20 minutes although I told him it is a freon problem upfront finally he said there is a freon leak but refuse to test where is the leak I told him that I have being developing single family homes for 30 years but he was trying to get me to change the whole system starting from the furnace to the coil system to the air compressor I ask him to give me a price for each service as old car sales person he told me it would be expensive I replied I did not ask if it is expensive or cheap I asked for estimate so he volunteered telling me variably that to change the coil system by itself would cost between $7500 to $8500 when I called around I found out that the average cost between $1600-2500 the man asked me to pay the $ 89 dollars service charge which I did he promised by the end of the day I will get to separate estimates one for the leak fixing and another to change the system they never bazar to send any estimate for 3 days now these people are nothing but con artists they convince people to pay $ 89 a month for AC maintenance to maintain the AC that's over $1000 a year first they do trying to convince their customers that the system they have needed to be updated so the can gouge them this is a dishonest business owner I don't not blame the employee but the owner I will be reporting him to the state license contractor board to all consumers dealing with Cole services my professional opinion this business is set up to gouge people stay away from them

I have a 68-year-old house with the original plumbing. I had verbally contracted with another company to remove and install a new soft water tank system. While they were friendly and communicative, they dropped the ball at the most important time. A pipe connection disconnected during a pre-prep (just basic cleaning up before they were to install). Not only did they not offer to even try to fix the problem (they were Plumbers!!!) they dumped me to find a plumber to ""assess"" the situation.

My dear neighbor suggested Cole. I got right on the phone with their 800# and was immediately connected to a very sweet and kind employee who took all my info and scheduled me the earliest appointment they had available.

The lead team arrived promptly and came prepared to not only do work if they could that day, but also with an estimate on what needed to be done. Enrique and Oscar (Supv) were knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. Oscar took the time to explain what needed to be done and steered me away from the other company's product to the Halo system. Oscar was very unhappy for me that I had been left by the other company to hunt down another plumber.

I advised Oscar that my hot water tank was getting very old and was probably ready to bottom out. Oscar then contacted the business office and arranged to add a new water tank to my contract. All was done very professionally and promptly.

At 3:00 pm when they arrived I had a good idea of what I needed, and what they offered and agreed to have them do the work. They started that day! They worked their bu** off until 8 pm! They completely demo'd the old plumbing and cabinet, and put in a new hot water tank and a new soft water system! By 8:00 pm I had soft water and hot water! One of the installation team advised that he was concerned about the two systems being so close together without a circuit breaker in case of a short, lightning, etc., and advised they would be out the next day to install it. That so put my mind at ease! Never once throughout the process did I ever feel I was being upsold, pushed, or made feel taken advantage of. I'd like to say it all ended there, but the next morning when the crew arrived to do the circuit breaker... about 20 minutes later I was asked to come outside. They smelled gas and had traced the pipe to the source of the leak. I was mortified. They sprayed the soapy water on the pipe and it just bubbled right up. The smell of gas was nauseating.

Oscar came right back out to the house and advised the best and safest course of action was to put in a new gas line. I was lucky in that the one that was going bad was already on the outside of my house. I completely agreed and Oscar immediately contacted their business office to add that to my already existing contract. It was all done smoothly. They were at my house from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. By the time they had finished, everything was cleaned up, swept, and spotless. You would have never known they had been there. They showed me the old pipe that had almost rusted through in two places. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

All in all, did I want to spend an incredible amount of money to have all the extra done, no, but truthfully, I think it was an omen and meant to happen the way it did. Had I stayed with the other company, I know for certain they would not have detected the gas leak as they would only have been putting in the soft water tank and leaving. Cole saved the day and probably my house and life. I would more than highly recommend them! You have to listen to your gut, it'll never let you down.

I would give a zero if possible. Lies and high pressure tactics were used to get me to approve installation of a new water heater. I was then overcharged and unable to get a receipt or paperwork on the new unit. I feel this company is outright dishonest.
