I recently had a situation where the shower cartridge in 2 of our bathrooms were leaking and were in need of replacement. I called around, yet no one would even begin to offer a ballpark of what this repair would cost. I called Bob based upon his proximity to my home - as well as the fact that he stated in his ad that he would offer estimates over the phone (knowing well that a firm estimate could not be offered until he would come out to the site).

Bob arrived on schedule, assessed the situation and completed the repair - and at the stated estimate that he gave me over the phone! I was more than pleased with the work and his professionalism - as well as the level of caution he took in making the repair - a level that I certainly would not have exercised had I attempt the repair on my own.

Bob will be my go to plumber without hesitation in the future!

I discovered a slow leak coming from the bottom of my old gas hot water heater (17 yrs old) that must have been running for weeks! I finally noticed it after the water travelled along the garage wall under a trailer to the garage door. I was desperate and concerned and really wanted it fixed as soon as possible.

I called Sears - they were scheduling a week or more out. This was the same for some other plumbers as well because it was just before the holidays - Thanksgiving - and they were busy.

I called Cole Plumbing and they came out the next day! They asked me for some basic information about the existing hot water heater - type, size, location, pipe and vent fittings, etc.- and also gave me some choices for replacement.

The next morning they arrived and brought the gas hot water heater I had chosen with them. They went to work - drained the old tank, shutoff water, removed old tank and disposed of it, installed new tank, plumbed the lines, added an extended ""pvc"" drain line with valve, turned on water and checked the operation / settings of the new tank. Total cost was $850!

This was a very fair price because it included the new gas hot water heater and install labor. I had priced the new tanks online and they varied between $500 and $700 alone! I wanted a new excellent quality hot water heater, gas, long warranty, plenty of gallons, etc.

I am very happy with my new gas hot water heater and with Cole Plumbing for the fantastic job they did - they were very professional, fair and fast!

Had originally called another company but they never called back like they said they would so I called Cole. The man was very nice and squeezed us in. He had told me on the phone that he could stop by to take a look at the problem but wouldn't be able to fix it until the next day. When he came by he just went ahead and fixed it right there on the spot. He was super nice and the service was great. I would definitely recommend this company. If we ever have a plumbing problem again I will be calling Cole.

Called this plumber today because my water heater went out. I was considering swapping it out myself so I checked Home Depot and found the same size water heater for around $380. I ran out of time to get started on the project, so I called these guys up for a quote to replace the water heater.

The guy asks me what kind of water heater do I have and I say 40gal. gas water heater and right out of the gate he quotes me - not even kidding - $1,000.

I said ""Sir, no I'll have the water heater here already. I'm not trying to buy the water heater from you directly I just need someone to swap the old one for the new...""

He says ""Oh no we don't do that. Some guys will but we won't do that."" - REALLY? But buddy you were just going to charge me $1,000 for a water heater that costs $380 and takes about 1-1.5 hours to install.. you mean to tell me that if I bought my own water heater you couldn't justify your $620 in labor? LOL!! What a joke. I just laughed and hung up. Who in their right mind tries to fleece customers this way and expects to remain in business? He could of showed up and I would of cut him a check for $350 for his 1-1.5 hours of labor and he could of been on his way.. instead he thought it was a better business practice to try and rip me off.

Mr. Cole has been and continues to be a first rate plumber; willing and capable of handling virtually any plumbing problem in all situations. I have used him as our plumber for years and today (8/26/11) he performed his usual competent and neat work in a hot garage on this one of our hottest days! Thank you, Bob.
