Beware especially if your a female because they will take advantage of your trust and scam you. They did not properly repair the leak on purpose knowing the it would just return in a matter of days. When I spoke to the office manager she said if they had to come out again that they would have to charge me for another service call even though they obviously did not repair the first one since I was dealing with the same leak. I had already paid them over $200 for less than 30 min of work while this guy used my tools on the counter to replace a washer. He did not even bother to check the other faucet. He Knew that he was setting me up for another service call. I was scammed. It's sad because they were recommended to me by a guy in the neighborhood but unfortunately they saw it as an opportunity to rip a girl off. My neighbor apologized for recommending them.

Had a minor leak in a bathtub faucet and this company came to repair - they quoted $350 to fix. I asked how much was material vs labor and they said $50 material and $300 labor - so I asked how long the repair would take they said "1 hour" - so I asked if it's normal for a plumber to charge $300/hr. Seemed outrageous but wanted it fixed so agreed. 3 minutes later....yes 3 minutes later the work was done.

So I paid $300 in labor for 3 minutes of work...will never use this company again because that is not how you treat people fairly. I understand a minimum labor charge for the trip but that should be $125-150 max. Giant rip off

We recently tiled 3 second floor restrooms. Bought new toilets and requested installation. The house is 27 years old and one of the mounting seals needed replacing. I wanted no errors on this as 2nd floor restroom issue can ruin life on 2 floors. The team showed up and work completed in just over an hour. No trace. They even hauled off the giant new toilet boxes, trash, etc. The caulking job around each new unit is perfect and I tested for 3 days behind each with a Kleenex. Bone dry, zero leaks. Great job by this team and a fair price for a lot of work done will. Good value and work product from "Cold is on the Right". Cool name too.

This is the third time we have used Cold is on the Right Plumbing. This is another 5-star review. On time (early actually) and the repair was spot on. We needed an external faucet replaced and it was done quickly with no extra charges. Great outfit.

Had a huge water bill in my mobile home. They sent two very young men out to find a possible leak. First they checked the toilets. Said there were NO leaks. No leaks under the house so it MUST be a leak in the water line. Gave me an estimate of over $7,000. In talking with the water district, they suggested I turn off the guest toilet. I did and my water meter showed NO water usage. Called a different plumber the following day. He found that my toilet was, indeed, losing water. Fixed it. This is unacceptable. I was about ready to spend thousands though I don't have that kind of money! Steer clear of this company!

About a month ago, I was working to buy a home I was currently renting and negotiating the cost with the homeowner. We decided we would find the cost of estimated repairs needed on the home and adjust the sales price accordingly. One thing I knew was there were roots growing in the old main line out of the house. Called COTR to come out and video scope it so I could have footage to show the homeowner. I paid $250, when I asked for the video they said they did not take any video, they just looked at the scope live. Then did not receive a quote until I followed up. When I did follow up all I received was a photo of a labor proposal agreement. No call from a rep to talk me through the repairs or suggestions. Quote was also double what I received from another company. $250 down the drain (pun certainly intended). Two stars because perhaps it was my fault for presuming they would take video or at least photos in 2020.

Beware of unscrupulous practices. We had an issue with a toilet, they came out and said that it was unfixable and had to replace the entire toilet, proceeded to give me an estimated of $900 for the job. I went to a plumbing store and bought the part and replaced it myself in under 20 minutes. The guy that came out CLEARLY was scamming me. The store I went to laughed at the comments and the estimate from Cold is on the Right. Such disgusting practices. Shame on you!!!
