I highly recommend this company! Our unit started blowing warm air after 5:00 last Thursday. I was worried that being so close to the end of the week, we would have challenges getting someone to come out - IN JULY, IN TEXAS, no less. I talked to someone at Cody & Sons at 8:15 am. the woman I spoke to was very nice! we scheduled a window of 4-6. Late in the day, but at least same day! The tech call me at 2:00 that day letting me know they were ahead of schedule and could be at our house in 45 min! The quickly found the problem. Instead of upselling me a new system (which is the dread) they were able to fix the problem and service the machine for $150! $150 vs $6k? ummm YES! Cody & Sons for the WIN! We will absolutely use them again!

I'm very happy with their service from beginning to end. The guys who came out to fix our gas leak and slow outside spigot were friendly and fixed the problem quickly. They were even great at working with our Shepherd who is very protective of the house. She ended up hanging around them and wanting to play ball; that's a good sign when people can win your Shepherd's affection in a few minutes. I had a great experience with this company and the price was very fair. I wouid definitely use their services again.

Wow! I used Yelp to find this company, had my decision affirmed by a friend and neighbor and couldn't be more pleased with our service. When I called, I had a very easy booking conversation with the person I spoke to on the phone. They were prompt, able to get me in the same week, they were no back and forth phone tag games with voicemails that weren't set up (typical plumber). They called in advance to confirm the appointment and time frame. There were not gimmicks with the pricing. Everything was straightforward! The service guy arrived on time, put on booties before entering my house, clearly described the issue within minutes, gave us a fast estimate. After approval the problem was resolved. We even got an invoice in our inbox. Very professional, easy to use. I would use them again and recommend them any Oak Cliff neighbor! Glad to have found you guys!

We moved in to our home a month ago and the heater went out the same day as Dallas hit 24 degrees and snow...I used Yelp to find Cody and Sons since the service provider selected by my Home Warranty company hadn't contacted me (still hasn't). Tony called almost immediately after I hit send on the email to potential providers. He explained that the soonest he could come was the next afternoon and he understood if I could find someone to come faster, just to let him know. Tony arrived wearing shoe protectors, which I appreciate, and immediately got to work. He was happy to talk to the Home Warranty rep twice to get payment approved and was able to get our heat back on within an hour.
We will definitely be calling Tony for spring and fall HVAC preventative services.

My entire experience with the company went very well, from my initial communication with two ladies at the office, to clean-up by the two gentlemen who did the installation.

I actually bought two Energy Star water heaters myself, which qualified for nice gas company rebates, and asked several top-rated plumbing companies to bid on only the installation. Cody & Sons had the lowest price, so I went with them and never regretted it.

Two men (Phillip, a Master Plumber and his apprentice Cody) showed up near the beginning of the 2-hour time window (which is always nice). After seeing my old and new water heaters and the difficult accessibility to the installation spaces, Phillip quickly realized that they would need a third helper since the units weighed about 150 lbs each and had to go straight up into the opening at the pull-down stairs in order to clear the hatch springs.

They went right to work, putting shoe covers on and covering everything in the house that might get wet or damaged. The third helper arrived in another truck once they were ready to install the new water heaters. The installation went very smoothly. They cleaned the attic areas and the house so that you could never tell they were there.

They made sure that I was satisfied with the job in every way, and gave me a two-year warranty on the work. I've found that, when your company reflects your family name, you tend to take pride in your work and that was the case here. I would call Cody & Sons again in a heartbeat!

I tried to reach Cody and sons (CS) via phone and left voice mail. They were prompt in returning my call and the reps arrived within the stated timeframe. The plumber and apprentice were efficient, very competent, and reasonably priced for services rendered. They took the extra time to answer other questions and provided recommendations for which hardware stores would have the proper parts for our older plumbing infrastructure. I highly recommend CS.
