Code Blue Plumbing
Company Overview
Code Blue Plumbing has been serving Tucson and its neighboring regions since 2006. Our goal is to offer reasonably priced plumbing repairs without compromising on quality service. Our trucks are fully equipped, and our staff wears uniforms, all trained in the latest industry technologies. We possess tools and equipment that many other plumbing companies lack, enabling us to perform repairs and replacements more efficiently and affordably. Code Blue provides discounted rates for returning customers and all our commercial clients, including property management and Realtor inspections.
Our founder established this company in 2006 to create a trustworthy plumbing experience, distinct from what Tucson residents had known. His commitment to hard work and transparency ensured that customers received the services they required. Our plumbers are now making a difference for homeowners, one service call at a time.
As a Tucson native, I am deeply rooted in the emergency services sector. With over 17 years in plumbing and air conditioning, I have seen the decline in customer service standards. I have witnessed shortcuts taken and have fixed the errors made by those prioritizing convenience over integrity. Over time, customer service has changed. While technology brings us many conveniences, it can also mislead us. In the process, we might neglect the importance of genuine connection and human touch. Over time, we may stop making the extra effort and lose a part of ourselves. With God's grace and my family's support, I started Code Blue in 2006.

This company required we pay upfront for a report they knew to be inconclusive, and then when we called to correct the issue we were told to be grateful for having gotten a discount from their 250$ rate.
Included in the report was a projected 95 dollar repair and resolution to complete the inspection through an added cleanout. What a steal! Except when we called to take action they let us know that it was in fact 950 dollars - whoops!
Don't do business with a company that lies, baits, and switches. They'll come out fast, sure, but thats because they don't stick around to complete the job. Nobody in their right mind should choose Code Blue.

$1100 to excavate my kitchen to only find that the pipes run outside.... Manager was unapologetic and had no desire to make it right. Would not recommend this money grabbing company.

Price gouging at it's best.
$275.00 for a 3 minute fix to an irrigation line.
Yes, I was thankful it wasn't a pipe to the house. When discovered, 6 inches of rubber tubing was all that it required. The estimate I signed should have been adjusted.

Plumbing inspection on our new home purchas came back as no issues ... one week living here, mass flood due to massive clog and collapsed pipes .. had another company come out with a camera and I saw it myself .
DO NOT USE this company. Kitchen and living room is still upside down.. had we known the truth, we would never have purchased this home .
Very dishonest company . I know of one other person who used this company, and they told her that the pupes were clogged and needed to go underneath the downstsirs bathroom to unclog it.. they stated 1700 grand for it... turns out , they showed another person's plumbing to her ..... and after 2nd opinion.. the new companies camera showed it all clear. .. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS....
I am so angry with this company.. never ever again!
Dont call me to try and fix it.. and no I WILL NOT be taking this review down.. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW

Great company. Very responsive and prompt. Mike F. has performed plumbing work at my home and was very good, professional and responsive. I highly recommend Code Blue Fpr your plumbing needs.

Update :
After a lot of research I chose CBP to replace my 13 year old water heater. There was no problem it was just age.
My cut off is 12 years , because most failures are caused n the 12-15 year range. Many last longer.
I chose a Bradford White 6 year electric. It came with a free insulation cover that I had to pay an hour labor to install.
But I got a very good price on
My unit.
There was a one week gap from remove old to install new because the WH closet needed a matching tile floor, electric upgrade and painting which takes days to arrange.
So no hot showers or dishwasher in the gap period.
Now it's in, I dropped a size capacity to 40 gallon since there is just the two of us. I Could have gone to 30 but the unit price is actually higher because of fewer sales.
This is an Energy Star Heater.
All new piping and we were able to Reuse the existing 3/4 ball valve.
A small savings.
This will be good.

On 2/7/2024 Code Blue-Tucson recently came out to perform a water heater flush on my electric water heater and were so thorough. They even flushed it twice, and unplugged the outlet valve when it became plugged with sediment during the flush. While waiting for the WH to flush, the technicians addressed other concerns of mine. There was noticeable tampering that had been done by a former tenant; the water heater was installed less than 24 hours before their tenancy began. The upper and lower thermostat doors were wide open, and hanging by one screw each (typically there is a screw on each door; one at the top, and one at the bottom), and were set too high (140 degrees each) and the plastic protector plate for the breaker had been removed, leaving exposed live wires which could possibly have caused electrocution. One of the screws in one of the doors was completely stripped from tenant tampering, and the technician had to use all his might and a pair of Channel Locks to remove it and then replace with a new screw. You could see paint damage on the WH from when the tenant was messing with the thermostat door. The technicians checked the temperature of my hot water at various locations in the house and it was 118 degrees when it should have been 110 degrees. The technicians lowered the upper and lower thermostats to 125 degrees (the manufacturer's recommendation) and replaced the plastic plate in the breaker box which was found on top of the WH. They never charged me any additional dollars for doing the safety check on the water heater and getting it back to normal. I HIGHLY recommend Code Blue. Out of the 35 years I have hired companies to come out and flush my WH's, I have never seen a company perform a water heater flush and address potential safety issues like Code Blue. They were able to give me peace of mind - which speaks volumes, especially when it comes to keeping future tenants safe. I consistently see Code Blue trucks at City of Tucson-owned homes, so this alone tells me they are a reputable company. I am very, very happy and I would not hesitate to call on them for other future plumbing needs. See you again next year for the annual WH flush! Thank you!!

Great company! We had a somewhat urgent issue and they were available relatively quickly without a giant charge. The techs who came out were knowledgeable and able to explain what was going on. I would definitely recommend them.

This company is ran by a wonderful family with great family values. They are about the customers needs not their money. The plumbers that they employ are very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. Don't skip them over. Look to them first.
