Cocoa Beach Plumbing (also doing business as Hicks Construction Co.) did a bathroom remodel for us. The work was projected (by the business owner) to take 2-3 weeks, with a contract stipulated finish of no longer than 5 weeks, but ultimately took almost 12 weeks. Communication was primarily initiated by us - through the receptionist. The shower work was excellent, but all other work was adequate to shoddy. There were things that I would have liked them to fix, but in reality I just wanted them out of our house. We, the homeowners, had to do all of the on-site supervision. After excellent references, this company has gone greatly downhill and we definitely do not recommend it.

Home owners beware of hiring this company to do bathroom renovations. Was told my project would take two or three weeks...we are now into week eight. The guy who laid the tile did such a terrible job it needs to be redone. I call almost everyday to find out when I'm on the schedule to get the job completed and can't get a response. Feeling very frustrated.

These people are the poorest excuse for a business I have ever seen. When you call to talk to the Manager, you are ALWAYS told he is in a meeting. This goes on for WEEKS! And leaving your number never works because he NEVER returns your calls. We were charged more than the amount agreed on for the work done. And....the work took 3 times longer than they told us it would, leaving us in limbo for weeks! The installer told me himself that he doesn't know why they sent him on this job with no help. He said he has never done this work before and was not sure how to do it. WE WILL NEVER USE COCOA BEACH PLUMBING OR HICKS CONSTRUCTION EVER AGAIN!!!

This is hands-down the best plumbing company in the area. They replaced my hot water heater in May, 2016. I unfortunately only left a negative review for Tom Walker Plumbing after they bumbled the job, but I had this blurb in it that I just copied and pasted about Cocoa Beach Plumbing: """"I called Cocoa Beach Plumbing, and they immediately checked on the part, told me they would order it and have it the next business day, and have a plumber over to install it; and, they provided a flat rate for the work, in advance."""" Fast forward to today, 7/19/19. My wife and I found that no water would go down our sink and the garbage disposal wouldn't work. We were in town to review painting and caulking work done by a contractor of Bennett and Sons AC, named Jorge (more on this later). Cocoa Beach Plumbing showed up within 2 hours of us calling them, and offered a flat rate for the trip, the diagnosis and a new garbage disposal. $237. Super rate! The technician, Ryan is amazing. Super professional and clearly knows his stuff. He diagnosed the issue and fixed it, even though it was probably one of the most difficult disposal replacement jobs anyone has done. Now, back to Jorge. Inside the disposal, Ryan found a ton of paint and caulking. Everything below the sink was actually glued together with caulking and paint. Apparently, Jorge thought it was a good idea to dump paint and caulking down the garbage disposal while no one was looking. Ryan is still charging us the flat rate, despite all of the extra work. Now, that's service. Ryan was able to save our sink and a ton of extra cost. He went the extra mile for us. The hot water heater they installed for us 3 years ago is still working perfectly, and the drywalling they did inside the closet is similarly perfect. Cocoa Beach Plumbing is an honest company with great professionals. Don't call anyone else. I know I never will.

We needed a new water heater. Great price, great service, and super professional and quick to come and install! Even pointed out an issue with my toilet that they quickly and gladly fixed! Will be going to them for future pluming needs.

These people are crooks - the lowest kind imaginable :( I was visiting my 85 year old Mom's house in October of last year, and toilet was leaking. I called her """"favorite"""" plumber from Cocoa Beach Plumbing Service. A jovial fellow appeared, laughed and joked around a lot with her, and charged to replace the o-ring. He left with a lot of laughter and good cheer. A month later, I returned to Cocoa Beach, only to smell a urine-type odor coming from the same toilet. I called the same plumber and lo and behold, the same fun-filled guy appeared. he explained that the toilet just needed to be sealed around the base. I asked him if he was going to charge a fee, and he said, """"Yes M'am! That will cost you a service fee."""" When I pointed out that I was there the last month when he personally replaced the o-ring and thereafter neglected to seal the bottom of the toilet, he said, """"Oh! In that case, this one's on me!"""" and promptly left the house with again, lots of good cheer. Then the bills started to arrive. My mom has dementia. Need I say more? Another month later, she was just about to pay for this last visit when I noticed that this was the same plumber that was suppose to not charge for the half-done job that he had left back in October. I tried calling the company several times, and the owner always seemed to be out. He never did return any of my 3 calls. Not it is June, and my Mom has moved in with me, so I am getting her mail. Guess what suddenly appeared? Another bill for this same job. These people are preying on the good will of elderly people. They are the lowest form of low, and deserve to be put out of business. And oh - try calling the number on the invoice: 321-783-6000. The line is out of order for a week now. I wonder if indeed they are out of business, but just trying to send out another round of phony invoices, hoping some other poor, elderly person will feel obligated to pay them for """"plumbing services rendered.""""

On a Thurday, I scheduled an appt for the following Tuesday because that was their earliest opening. At 8am, the day of my appt., I spoke to Roxanna at Cocoa Beach Plumbing to CONFIRM my appt. She said yes, that I was scheduled from 12-2pm. Great. Well, 2pm rolls around and no plumber. So, I called and spoke to a lady named Anna (I think that's her name) to find out why the plumber had not shown up. She apologized and said, """"I thought she called everyone. The plumber had an emergency and would be working all evening"""". I had to reschedule for this Friday. Well, after thinking about how I was treated and losing a day's pay, I thought do I want to take a chance and lose another? Nope, so, I called and cancelled my appt and then called another plumber. My opinion of Cocoa Beach Plumbing is that they are very unprofessional, very unorganized and have extremely poor customer service. They did not even offer to send another plumber the day of my scheduled appt. :-( If I could give no stars, I would.

We had a great service installing our new tankless water heater. They had to come back once to double-check on the hot water in the kitchen and they didn't charge us for the service call. We appreciate it.

Quick estimate and fit us in the schedule. This is the third time we used Cocoa Beach Plumbing and will probably use them exclusively for now on for our 30 year old house. Big thanks to Ethan and Dan for their great work on the afternoon of 10/23/20. Thanks!

Contacted Cocoa Beach Plumbing to do an estimate on some shower plumbing work I needed. Was advised estimates were billable. I agreed to the estimate fee. They showed up on time and was very knowledgable. However I never received the estimate although I paid for one. After multiple calls to the office and promises by the receptionist that they would get it to me it never arrived. If they didn't want the work then they should have told me before even coming out to do the estimate as I described exactly what I needed done. Lesson learned never pay for an estimate from contractors. (Especially in advance)
