I contacted Ryan to fix a problem with our sprinkler system at home. He was flexible and willing to come over at a time that worked for us. In about 20 minutes he checked the timer system and the valves and was able to identify the issue. He had all the necessary tools and parts needed to fix the problem in his truck. His charges were also reasonable.

He bought us parts and showed us what broke and why. Everything was done (including leaving to buy parts and coming back!!) in a couple hours. And the price was extremely reasonable. Ryan recently completed a drain clog job at my home. He was professional, arrived on time, and fixed the problem. He could easily have recommended the more expensive repair option. However, he first tried out a solution he recommended, which worked. I would have paid for the more expensive option but Ryan avoided recommending a more expensive solution (at double the cost) that would have taken about the same amount of time.

Here is the history, reached out to Cockrums Handyman to work on an assembly of a Gazebo for my backyard. We agreed on the price and the date of work. Pretty straight forward. Ryan even messaged me the night before to confirm if the work is still on. A couple of hours before the agreed time and date, he cancels on me. I would not run my business like that. How would you rate this experience?

Since there is no way to respond to your reply Ryan, I am editing my review to include a response to counter what you just said as this is about integrity. You texted to my wife to cancel ~an hour before you were suppose to work on the Gazebo saying it's impossible for 1 person to install this as you work alone, solo and have no assistant vs your response to me that the assistant you lined up flaked out and finally to your response from my review of you where your assistant is not allowed to work. These are mixed messages that do not reconcile.
