Jonathan Moyer founded Cocalico Plumbing & Heating in March 1990, starting from his home garage in southern Lebanon County. As word spread about his quality plumbing and HVAC services, the two-car garage quickly became insufficient for the growing business. Cocalico Plumbing & Heating has consistently served residents in Lancaster, Lebanon, and Berks Counties. In 2002, we broadened our reach to serve Chester County. In 2007, we introduced light commercial services and air quality solutions to our offerings. In 2013, we incorporated home comfort services into our wide range of offerings. We continue to be a family-owned business, committed to delivering reliable and high-quality HVAC and plumbing services to homes and businesses in Ephrata, New Holland, Lititz, and the surrounding areas.
The President and Owner of Cocalico Plumbing & Heating is Jonathan Moyer. He founded the company in 1990 and lives in Newmanstown, PA, with his wife. As a Licensed Master Plumber, Jonathan is certified in Geothermal heating, Gas Heating, Air Quality, and other plumbing and heating specialties. He brings 30 years of experience to the field and has two sons: James, who oversees the HVAC department at CPH, and Andrew. He enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family at their cabin in Pennsylvania during his free time.

Our AC unit would not come on. We had been using Cocalico for a few years now. Jason, the manager, came out and fixed our problem. He actually agreed to do our yearly contract maintenance, which wasn't originally scheduled. We were so pleased he did that, we gave him $40 in cash. He was there on a Friday, late afternoon. On Saturday night, our bathroom light above the mirror fell off the wall. By Monday, I noticed our bathroom wall was wet. I called Cocalico, after hours, and while on the phone my husband noticed our bedroom ceiling was also wet. Another guy came out. He saw a pipe was leaning, that should have been straight and was dripping. There was no solid reason as to ""how"" this happened. No one else was up in the attic, except the guy on Friday. After a few days, I received a call that explained the manager and the after hours guy said there was no way they bumped the pipe and that we owed the after hours service call. There was NO ONE else in our attic. Accidents happen but they didn't want to admit that. I no longer trust them to come in our home. If they would accidentally pump something, they will NOT accept blame for it. It's a shame too because we liked this company prior to this incident and recommended them to everyone. No more...
i don't normally write reviews but we were very pleased with our experience with CPH right from the 1st visit for the estimate (very thorough) to the install. there was a slight accident while working in the attic (these things happen) but i was most impressed with HOW they handled it making sure that they did whatever needed to be done to our complete satisfaction. i would use CPH anytime without hesitation.
Fixed our problem quickly and efficiently with no ""extra"" work like some places charge you!!! Left it better and cleaner than they found it. Would recommend them to anyone!!! Very responsibly priced too!!!
Diane B.We've been using Cocalico Plumbing for 18 years and have been relatively satisfied with only a few bumps along the way. We had them replace two of our garbage disposals Nov 2017 and the service went very well. Recently we were away for nearly a month ... when we return one of the disposals was seized up and would not turn. We called Cocalico and explained the problem. Instead of telling us how we might try to free up the disposal ourselves they set up a service call. The man came out, took a plunger handle (upside down) and turned the blades a bit. He was very nice and said that rust is sometimes the problem when they sit. It took him only a minute. My husband called Scott and told him we were disappointed that he had not guided us to try this on our own before having to have a service call. But Scott was unwilling to wave the service call. We are disappointed in this greed.
Been with CPH for 10 years. Charged $340.72 for a 45 minute call on a weekday and I had a service contract with them. $109.95 for diagnostic services and $230.77 for a $47.00 part! Gouging in my estimation ....
Katharina D.Just moved into the area and needed to find a plumbing company to install a new hot water heater. My neighbor suggested Cocalico Plumbing and Heating so made an appointment for the installation. While the technicians were there, I asked them to plug in the existing sump pump. Come to fine out, the pump was not operational. Needless to say, I also had them install a new sump pump. After they left, I heard this awful noise each time that the sump pump check valve open up. I called them back and explained the noise. They immediately came back out and determined that the check valve was working per manufacture specs. At that time, I contacted the owner of the company and explained that I would like to have an ultra quite check valve installed. He immediately ordered a new valve and they installed within days of my complaint. After resolving this issue, I requested an estimate for the installation of a new furnace and expect to have it installed this year. I truly feel that the employees of this company provide outstanding service and will continue to use them for my heating and plumbing needs.
Ross B.I have been a CPH customer for over 10 years. Very responsive, quality workmanship, professional staff. Their costs are reasonable as well.
Had Item fixed 5 months ago. was billed 1/4 hour but until I paid labor rate travel time and part whole job just under $300. Part breaks again was told only 90 day warranty would cost another $300 talked till I was blue in the face no discount no warranty period. Bought the part myself $118 install in 15 minutes got better year warranty. you decide
Was able to resolve bill and solve our heating problem but the blower motor they put in is very loud, think it is out of align with the fan
Gina C.Very disappointed. Called them to come out to fix an issue we were having, and instead of exploring where the leak was coming from, once he just looked in 1 spot, he then said I don't know and that was it. Then told us to explore the issue and to call back if we found the issue. Isn't that your job to do? All he had to do was look in another place, but hey, guess he didn't feel like doing his job, and on top of it had to pay $100 for nothing but him to cut a hole out of our ceiling for no reason.
