Today, I needed my sink and tub drains looked at as they were running super slow. Never hesitating for even a nano-second, I called Bob at Cobra Rooter. You see, Cobra Rooter, Bob and I go back many years, mid '90's I believe. Cobra Rooter did all of the drain/plumbing work at the Surfer Motor Lodge up to 2003. Always a phone call away, we would laugh at the many interesting item a hotel guest would flush down the commode, he always got the drain cleared. After the Surfer glory days, he was like a part of the family and went to my parents house with their 1950's plumbing and mine. Bob always made time to chat with them, even making suggestions for improvement and the price was Always right. So why would I call anyone else, Bob is a Count on Me guy; responsive, respectful and deliver a great product.

Cobra and Bob are the best. He is a unusual in that he educates you how to avoid having him return!! I learned a lot from him and he cleared my drains for the best price I have had in this house for 22 years. The best.

We have used Bob's Services several time over the past few years and couldn't be happier. Our house (built 1959) has giving us our fair share of plumbing issues but Bob has always responded promptly and resolved any of our issues to our fullest satisfaction. He is also one of the nicest contractors I ever meet and I appreciate his tip and tricks to do a better job with our older plumbing.

I had an issue with clogged dual master bathroom sinks and a clog in the kitchen sink and scheduled with another company to have somebody come out and give me an estimate. They did come out only to give me an estimate that seemed high in my opinion, I then called another company and they quoted me hourly rates instead of a set amount, but no guarantee of how long it would take so I passed on them. Then I saw the reviews for Bob at Cobra Rooter and I was impressed. I called him and my whole experience was just like you read in the other reviews: responsive, courteous, knowledgeable, cleans up after he's finished, and charges fair prices. He quickly fixed both clogs and one was in the difficult category, but he's knowledgeable so he was able to clear the clog without any problems. I'm very happy I contacted him and now I can recommend him to family and friends.

I have added this additional review with 5 stars in an attempt to make the cut on the Yelp Recommended reviews and truly warn others about this business.

Bob answers the phone for a start. He gives you a time, if he's going to be a little late he calls. He is friendly and professional, quickly assesses the problem and has the equipment to solve it. His prices are reasonable. Let's hope I don't need to see Bob again any time soon, but if I do, Bob is my man.

Really nice man. Glad to have found him in the neighborhood. Certainly a lot more affordable than those companies you see on TV that will just try to rip you off. Thanks for the work

Bob was professional, friendly, quick to respond and easy to schedule an appt with. He came prepared, worked his magic quickly, and cleaned up after. I don't have anything to compare his fees to, but feel they're very reasonable. I had avoided getting a rock hard blockage in a guest bathroom fixed for SEVERAL YEARS (insert embarrassment) because a) I assumed it'd be hundreds of dollars and b) it was a bath tub that doesn't get used. Bob said he liked a challenge and rose to the occasion! In less than 45 min, the tub was draining beautifully. I should have called Cobra ages ago and will definitely use Bob for any future rooting.

Woke up to a clogged kitchen drain. My spouse gave it the old college try for about an hour and a half with zero luck. So, Yelp it is. Found the ratings and reviews to my liking, made a call, left a message and got a call back lickety split. (I hope I spelled 'lickety' correctly. It seems spell check is younger than me. )
Anyhoo, Bob showed up not long after and took care of the problem quick as can be. Then I was bummed because I realized that I still had to do the dishes. Oh well. Quick response, friendly service and reasonable rates. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Even through I had already had service done by another rooter, Bob called to follow up with me and give me directly relevant guidance on how to proceed with the city to get my main line repaired.

His demeanor, tone, and questions were very helpful. I wish I could have used him instead.
