After weeks of trying to self diagnose and solve a plumbing issue, I called in the professionals. Gosh I wish I had called them sooner and saved myself the hassle. Cobabe Brothers was highly responsive, professional, timely, and efficient. They diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and without stress. I highly recommend them, and I will be using them again.

Our shower and toilet downstairs would not drain. We tried everything we could to fix it ourselves, with no luck. We were desperate to get our drain unclogged. I called Monday morning and talked with a very pleasant receptionist on the phone. She was able to get us in on the same day! That's pretty unheard of in my book. In 10 or 15 minutes of the 2 gentlemen arriving (didn't catch their names), they were able to fix our issue and showed my husband our pipes and everything. They did a thorough job and couldn't be happier with the service we received. I would recommend Cobabe Brothers to anyone that asks me about plumbing! They were in and out in 1 hour or less. I called Cobabe Brothers Plumbing in El Dorado Hills, California, this afternoon to have a plumber come out Wednesday morning - as they were booked for tomorrow - to check out the cause of hearing water flowing to the sewer line from the bathtub drain in our master bathroom each time we flushed either of the toilets, beginning the last weekend. The lady who answered my call was very polite and asked me to describe the problem and discussed availability with me. At 4:24 PM I received a call back that they had a plumber in my area that could come over soon - to which I agreed - and their plumber, Israel, arrived, diagnosed and resolved the problem by 5 PM. He refused to charge me for the visit, telling me that it wouldn't be right to charge me to solve a problem, which was an empty p-trap, that was resolved by simply running water down the long-unused master bathroom's bath drain in order to get water back into the empty p-trap. He explained to me that from the long period of not being used (because it's a geriatric-type jet spa tub we only use the shower/bath unit in our guest bathroom) the water in the bath drain's p-trap had completely evaporated over time, allowing us to hear the sound of water going through the sewer line underneath it when the toilets were being flushed. I promised him we would make Cobabe Brothers Plumbing our go-to company for any future plumbing needs and we discussed a possible kitchen/dining/sun room renovation job and replumbing of that area that he assured they could handle with no problem when the time came. Israel was very professional and honest and knowledgeable about many things beyond what he was sent for. This is truly a great plumbing resource in our area to turn to.

Everyone at this place gets 5 stars. We purchased a home that needed some TLC and these guys delivered. We converted two electric water heaters to tankless systes and a range over to propane. They took care of the permits, the installs and every detail. We also had a lot of issues that come with a 40 year old house and they took care of all of those as well. Everyone was professional and courteous. Hunter, Shane, John, Felix, Ashley & Warren. They were in and out in a week and once the inspections happened, they were right back out to start everything up. How many times do you work with a company and cannot remember people's names? They really stood out and I would use them again and will when we get to the rest of the phases we have planned. Great Job by all and right here in El Dorado Hills.

I wanted to replace my electric water heater with a hybrid electric water heater, I asked for a quote and Hunter arrived the following Friday morning. We agreed on a price and the Rheem I requested was not available but I opted for the Bradford White at a slightly lesser price. The Heater was installed on the following Monday. Hunter was meticulous in his approach to the job. From beginning to end it took about five and a half hours with everything up to code. It has now been two weeks and we couldn't be happier with the choice of heater and more important the choice of contractor and staff. Hunter showed that he enjoyed the work and wanted to give his best to make sure we were happy with the result.

I called Cobabe to clear debris from my water line but they insisted they could only flush the line if I allowed them to replace the water heater which was the source of the debris. After I approved the service they did replace the water heater but if stopped working within a week. They returned and reported debris was clogging the system, so they then flushed the line and cleared the error code in the water heater. The water heater stopped working again but when Cobabe came back, this time they reported there was a lack of ventilation and insisted they needed to cut another hole into my ceiling for ventilation. I felt suspicious, so I decided to get a second opinion. I called Bonney plumbing who told me an aftermarket conductor was spliced into the water heater I thought was new and that was causing the error code. That also voided any warranty on the water heater so I was stuck with a reconditioned used water heater that did not work. I reported the incident to California State Licensing Board. They conducted an investigation but the owner, Mathew refused to cooperate

Katie and Francisco were wonderful. We have nothing but positive praise for both. Katie was extremely responsive and kept me in the loop on everything when scheduling my appointment. She was a joy to speak with. Francisco came by only a few hours after asking them for help giving a leak in my toilet, and he was so kind to my boyfriend and explained exactly what the problem was. He fixed our issue and was on his way in just a few short hours. Would definitely hire him again, we really appreciated all the advice he gave us.

Cobabe Brothers is the worst contractor company I've ever worked with. I called them to see what was wrong with my water heater pressure and they sent Francisco. With them knowing I had a previous water leak he didn't not want to check the water heater and insisted it was the old galvanize pipes and that I replace them. The charged me $6,900 just to replace the hot and cold water pipes. Finishing work like drywall, paint, removal of old pipes and replacement of bathroom fixture were not included. After the pipes were replaced the water heater pressure was still low and there was also a leak from the water that was not there previously. When I called them about the issue both Francisco and Matt (the manager) accused me of sabotaging the water heater and would not check or fix the issue. What they did was offered me a quote to replace the old water heater. I wasn't going to get hooked into their scheme of making money so I called another contractor to install a new water heater. After all was said and done it was the temperature relief valve that need to be replaced. The part only cost $19 at home depot. All of this happened over a 2 month period when the job should've only taken 2 day at most and they also demanded I pay them before building inspection. During inspection they didn't hang the new pipes or insulate them properly and the inspector to give them a notice of corrections. For a company that has been around for this long I would expect more from them.

What I learned from this experience is DO NOT HIRE COBABE BOTHERS. They do shottie work and will sabotage your home in order to suck more money out of you!

Had a toilet leak and couldn't shut the main water valve, kept leaking. I called a bunch of plumbers, nobody could do anything today. Cobabe sent over a guy in under1 hour wearing PPE. He checked it out and gave me an estimate and said he'd return in a few hours. In that time I was able to close the main water valve and replace the toilet valve that was leaking.

I called to let them know, no charge for sending the plumber out. Plumber called me again 20 minutes later to make sure I was good!
