Mike was my tech, he took a look on what I need fix,and add 2 shutoff valves.Mike was extremely professional, he explained everything to me ,along with the cost. My husband and I are really happy with the service and attention we've gotten from Coates! The one and only thing that prevents me from giving a fifth star is the situation with home warranties. It is inconvenient for them to deal with home warranties, and they aren't very gracious about that. I understand that it takes them extra time. At the same time, I am paying them money (and it will be quite a bit given the problems in the home we just bought), and it is best for my family to be reimbursed as much as possible by our home warranty. We can afford to fix more and hire Coates more when we are reimbursed for approved services.

What we love: the men have done good work and have been polite in our home. They don't leave a mess. They answer questions thoroughly and patiently. They have pointed out problems that aren't necessary to fix immediately, but will come up within the next 5 years, and even gave us a written estimate for those repairs so that we can plan for those expenses and not be taken by surprise. They walked me through how to use and maintain plumbing and HVAC systems in our home that we were unfamiliar with (whole house humidifier, whole house water filtration, water softener, well pump, sump pump and drain, etc.) and it was a huge help!

I called Coates Plumbing on a recommendation from a friend. What a great recommendation. We got a quote within 24 hours and the project started within another 24 hours. They were very prompt and went above and beyond my expectations. They were working on plumbing that was at least 75 years old and have had many ""handyman"" fixes holding them together.
