My mom called me before she left town, & told me she had a hot water problem in her house. My hubby went out there to check it out, he confirmed that there was no hot water, we called Coastal ProA-1 & they came out within the hour. Dominic (the plumber came out) walked my husband through the problem
and showed him what was wrong. Dominic then gave us his recommendation to change out the 20yr old water heater that was leaking at the base. Coastal A-1 & Dominic were able to come out the next day and install the new water heater in place of the old one at a VERY reasonable price. Dominic's service was great & very professional. Definitely recommending them & using Coastal ProA-1 in the future!!

The owner, Dave, called me and asked what he could do to ""make it right"". He is refunding some of my money. All in all a very nice guy, and he has talked to his employees about the importance of BETTER customer service. I will try them again next time I need a plumber!


I had them out today for a clogged toilet. The plumber ""thought it would be easy"" but after 10 minutes declared that I had a ""bigger problem"". A main line blockage (even though all of the other toilets/tubs/sinks etc have all been working fine)
I had no choice but to agree to the $375 fee to clean out the ""main line"".
After 30 minutes or so the plumber told me that there is a ""bigger blockage"" somewhere and they needed another $275 to put a camera in to give me an estimate. Ok I get it, I live in PV, I'm a woman, but I know when I'm being hustled. ALSO they left the toilet/bathroom a MESS! Splatter all over the cabinets/walls.....disgusting.

When our three year old clogged the guest toilet just a few hours before guests were scheduled to arrive, we called the closest plumber we could find. After explaining the situation to Dave, he agreed to come out immediately on a holiday and fixed the problem. Very happy to have found a responsive plumber in my neighborhood.

The plumber that came out today was great. Leo was the plumber sent out this afternoon. i had a leak next to my water heater, which Leo was able to find without having to remove my water heater, saving me time and money. Leo was able to do a quick fix on a loose pipe. He was honest and charged me a fair price. I am very happy with this company and the service provided by Leo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Made an appointment, said he'd be here 1-3 pm. At 4 pm, still not here, I called him, and he said he was on his way. He never showed up and never returned calls after that. Had to call another plumber.

Plumbing issues never happen at convenient times. Normally its late at night or on a holiday weekend when you can't get a hold of anyone. We had an issue pop up that needed to get attended to on a Friday night of a 3 day holiday weekend and I was out of town on business. My wife was very nervous to have an unknown plumber come to our house while I was out of town. Kim put her right at ease and stayed until very late into the night taking care of the issue. He is kind, calm, professional and takes the time to explain things. Finding someone like Kim on Yelp is the very reason Yelp exists. Thank you Yelp.

Kim was amazing! He came to the house at 5:30p for what seemed like a simple water heater part replacement. Apparently the manufacturer sent us a similar looking but altogether different part, so poor Kim didn't finish until 10:30p! But in that time he explained everything going on, cleaned everything up, taught me some maintenance tips, and even though he was there all that time, still quoted the original amount we had agreed on. He's an honest hard worker, and those are hard to come by these days. Strongly recommended!

Kim is amazing! He came to my house at 5PM and after what should have been a simple part swap to the water heater, took longer than expected because the manufacturer sent a wrong part. The poor man ended up finishing at 10:30PM and still charged me the original amount quoted! Very hard working and honest man, explains what he does and why, and even gives maintenance tips. Definitely recommend!

Kim the owner of PV Plumbing is a truly hard working professional. He always meets your schedule and will work until its complete. On more than one occasion at our willingness he has worked through till midnight.

On one occasion our Water tank leaked all over our house. Kim was with us within an hour, took me to HD to pickup a new heater then went on to install. We were so impressed we got him to do a complete re-pipe of our house.
