I had a gas leak in a complicated 1 1/2 inch pipe that went under ground. Initially I was taken aback by the quote, but after checking with other companies, Coast's quote was in line with others. So I decided to go with them. The outcome of the work was really great, the technician (Luis) was smart, skilled and really overall good dude. I was happy with the outcome and they even helped me with a discount.

Had a clog in my piping connected to my kitchen sink. Put out a request on Yelp to various companies late at night and got a response by the time I woke up. This was the best quote I received. Most companies require a phone call, but I got a quote through Yelp and it was honored.
Technician came within the window I was given. Luis did the job quickly and without fuss. Even showed up with a mask on, which I appreciated.
Really great price and really convenient process. Will definitely recommend to friends and use again if I need to.

I give them one star for showing up when other service providers either cancelled or didn't show up at all. However, the technician that arrived, while polite, was absolutely unwilling to even entertain making an attempt to resolve or even improve an issue I was having with the A/C radiator coils freezing over and obstructing the airflow through the house. While the compressor that was installed was only 3 months old the technician insisted that he would only work on the problem if I agreed to gut the ENTIRE system and pay to have their company install everything from scratch. Duct work, new compressor, new heater/radiator, new coils, everything.
I was given a quote of between $15.5K and $17K.
My property is a very small house with an interior of just around one thousand square feet in the main building. (Which is the only area being cooled by the A/C.
I politely asked if he could at least try to make what ever improvements to the existing system he could think of that might either resolve or at perhaps reduce the frequency that the issue was occurring.
His response was a flat ""no"" with the reasoning that if he was unable to make a significant improvement that it would reflect poorly on the business and their reputation.
I told him I understood his concerns but that I was absolutely willing to accept the risk and reserve any judgment based on the outcome of the work. I knew it would only be an attempt. Just that I could not risk the expense based on so many other concurrent factors at the time. (COVID19 planning and so on).
He maintained his position and gave me the formal estimate.
My question remains... Why even bother to come to evaluate anyone's system that was not originally installed by their company in the first place? It would have saved everyone time and effort to simply state on the phone before coming that they only perform full installations and service their own work. I could understand that and then there would have been no time lost.
It leaves me with the second question of whether the reasoning behind the firm position was based on a perception that I could easily afford the work and that I was purely being frugal. Even if I were, I do not believe it is in anyone's business interest to provide NO options to a potential customer outside of the singular offer to gut and replace their entire heating and cooling system.
I'm sadly disappointed by the experience and must maintain that their reputation is absolutely in jeopardy based on their inflexible and somewhat exorbitant approach.
Again, the individual was very polite and seemed competent but I cannot accept an unwillingness to try, especially when I was more than willing to accept the risk and not hold him or the company accountable for outcomes that were beyond the scope of their work.

This company is by far one of the best plumbing companies I have ever have used. First of all they will respond quickly and when you cant get any other companies to come out even my warranty service could not get one out for me on the 25th of May which was Labor day Weekend.
I had family coming out and my sink was not fixed properly by the plumber that my warranty service sent out. And I could not get a hold of them because of the weekend. Sooo I called Coast plumbing. They came out that day fixed the problem and stayed to make sure it was done properly before they left, they were polite and very informative, helpful, and their prices are reasonable. From that point on I made a decision to not use my warranty company for plumbing issues I will call Coast Plumbing, Heating and Air, they have been unclogging my drains as well. for only $79.00 They are very polite on the phone and they call you before they get to your house.

We have used Coast Plumbing several times for a clogged kitchen drain, broken water line and replacing a water heater. They have always been prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again in the future when the need arises.

At the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak but before strict rules were in place, I had need of a plumber for non-emergency services. I called after business hours and left a message indicating that, and first thing the next morning they called me and were able to schedule someone to come out that same day. I thought the quote for the services was fair and reasonable, and my professional, friendly and respectful plumber diagnosed the problems, went out and bought the parts needed for the repairs, installed them and cleaned up after himself. In addition, he showed me where to find my outside water shut-off, which was very helpful info to have.
I would call them again in a heartbeat, highly recommend.

I have used Coast Plumbing for several different problems I have had at my house and at my mothers house. Each time the Service Tech was professional and knowledgeable about the difference issues. The Customer Support people were equally professional. I would definitely recommend this company for any plumbing, heating or air-conditioning needs.

This company came and saved the day! Myself and the kids came home to a flooded garage- the water heater has busted and was all over the garage floor and leaking down the driveway. I called Coast and they sent out a tech right away. Travis was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to remove and replace us with a great new water heater and was super quick! Price was reasonable and very competitive. The removal & replacement was swift. He took the time to explain how to shut off the water and turn off the gas and the safety settings. They hauled away the old water heater and I was back in business. I appreciate that I can say I actually have a plumbing company I can recommend and count on! Thank you!

We had three plumbing issues to address. We needed a toilet re-seated, a water valve replaced and a running toilet. We called Coast, as we had used them before. John was able to come out and quickly resolved all these issues. He also, wore gloves, a mask and booties. I saw on another post, that they may have a $10 coupon on their website.
