I called this company out because my air conditioner wasn't working well. They send a man named Terry out who spent less than 5 mins looking at my A/C unit. He then tells me that my compressor is completely broken and I will need a completely new A/C unit for $3,800! He never checked the filters or anything. Since it was so costly I called out 2 other A/C companies to get price quotes from them as well. Both the other A/C companies tell me that I was lied to, and that the compressor is NOT BROKEN! All I needed was a simple service and to change a clogged air filter. Within minutes my A/C was blowing cold air and working perfectly. I am very upset about being lied to, and had I not called other companies out I would have gotten scammed for $3,800. Buyers beware!

I had previously posted a negative review, but have to eat my words, they were great. Was a miscommunication with them, all is well happy to say..
The team showed up, was able to locate the leak in my water line (between the meter and the house) and fixed it within 20 minutes.
Thank you Coachella Valley Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning
Would definitely call again if I had plumbing needs.

We fell for the coupon scam as well. We paid $110 for absolutely nothing. The technician Went outside and came in saying that based on ""the numbers"", our coils were plugged. When I asked for an explanation he responded and said ""do you understand that"" in a very condescending way. When we told him that we had a full days work on the ""coils"" just last year by Hyde he said, well, I need your paperwork so I know what's been done. That's strange? Why, so he can upsell whatever wasn't done?

We have maintained this air conditioner every year and every year we have put in $500 to $1000 in repairs, thinking each time, this would be the last. We were told by Mr. Hyde that we bought a lemon! Like it was our fault! We've had it go out twice in 100 degree weather both times with company staying at our house.

We're done! The guy also dripped water (I hope) all the way from outside down the hallway and into our bedroom which I had to clean up. He took the filters out but didn't clean them, just said the bedroom one was filthy. We cleaned it ourselves. What did we pay for??? To have some condescending salesman insult us? When I asked him exactly what were the numbers outside that he was referring to he said ""I told you"". This company is dishonest and out to get what they can. I can't read the salesman's name because it is a figure 8 with a scribble. Should have the name printed on the invoice so the owner can know who is doing what.

Really happy with the guys who showed up to repair my leaky faucets. Old worn out seals. They also serviced my AC unit. Getting ready for summer heat. They are and will continue to be my go to company. Fair prices and great service.

Zero stars. We received a flyer in the Val-Pak envelope for an A/C inspection & start-up. This house is new to us and the advertised price was lower than I'd seen. I called on Monday morning. The gentleman on the phone was very nice, we scheduled our appointment for today (Wednesday), 12-2 p.m. No one came, no one called. I intentionally did not call them as after reading previous reviews, we had decided that if there was no contact by 4:30 p.m., we would consider the case closed.

The service rep who came out to service my air conditioner would not listen to me when I told him the part (that blows air) on top of my Mobile Home was part of the air conditioner unit. He insisted it was connected to the heater without looking at it and brushed me off like I didn't know what I was talking about and refused to even look at it. He said it had to be serviced in the fall when I have the heater serviced. I know the unit on top is connected to the air conditioner; I've lived here for 5 years and know what the unit does. I admit it's an odd set-up, some service people have refused to go onto the roof so I've had trouble finding someone I like to service my unit. Needless to say, I'm still looking. He also wanted to check for a leak because my refrigerant was down a little. He said it would cost $450 for the check up and couldn't say what the repair cost would be because he didn't know what was leaking. He told me California Law says all leaks must be repaired as of Jan. 2018. He didn't offer to top it off. I declined and he said he would have to report it; like a threat.

My mother who is 87 decided to let her""fingers do the walking"", and use the Yellow Pages, though I wanted to use Yelp. She picked this company. Guy on phone was very nice, and said they could be out at 12:30pm-2:30pm. We scheduled with them. Then called to reschedule for 2:30pm-4:30pm as we had previous committment.

They came at 4:20pm. Two guys showed up for 1 toilet? I thought, cha ching, right there.

We showed them the toilet and what was the problem. The flusher flap was not sealing, and water was not filling to turn off water. We could not turn off water from ankle stop. Too tight. Ugh. I gerry rigged a glass under the floater device to keep water from running.

Long story short, $165 to unstop toilet ( cha-ching) and $200 to replace the two values and a supply line. I didn't think it needed the supply line or one of the values but they said they only replace all parts, blah, blah, blah.. Total job $365 which to me was steep. My mom opted to do it, when I wanted to get a second opinion. It took them 20 mins to do the job.

They also tried to ""upsale"" us by telling us to replace the toilet for an additional $300 more money. Nope!

Because we didn't replace the toilet, they would not guarantee their work which is usually for 6 months as they said the toilet is too old.

I have minimal experience with toilets so am somewhat clueless but my gut tells me we got taken advantage of somewhat..don't know why.

Scheduled an appt. for Friday 2/22 from 10-12.
After not showing up between that time my husband called to hear that the guy was running late - could have called. At 4:45 someone showed up. 5 - 7 hours late!!! When I told him he was hours late he said he had just got the call. My husband met him at the garage for him to abruptly leave accusing me of slamming the door in his face. Plummer was a jerk!
