This is probably the most unprofessional plumbing outfit that overcharges, has hourly rate, but pushes for flat rate (2x the overall charge if you are paying hourly basis) and treats customer with utmost disrespect. If you must use this company avoid the plumber Kem Harvey. Don't allow him to do the job.

I use them for my rental property and then I asked them to come to my house for a vacuum breaker installation. The part is about $300 and it takes 1 hour (I assumed). So, I am expecting $400+, but they quoted me over email $740. I asked in email to do it for $400 and the office assistant made it look like she agrees. But now that I read her email more carefully, I see that she neither agreed nor disagreed rather asked me to give Kem a call to schedule.

Then Kem does the job, leaves no invoice, sends no invoice by email after the job and I'm thinking it will take them a week or so to send and then I'll schedule bill-pay to pay them (like it happens when they service my rental or with any other service provider).

Then I keep getting calls (3 times or so) from the office assistant at inconvenient times (when I'm driving, or in meetings) and I'm thinking she's doing a good job of trying to find out how the job went, etc.

Then I get a call from Kem and I was free to pick up the call. He is trying to collect payment and I am asking how much and where is the invoice. He says $740 and no invoice necessary and he's already assuming I'm trying to give them a run-around and not pay since I didn't pick up or return calls. Then he's outright belligerent and telling me he's coming to collect. I told him give me itemized invoice so that I can see how $300 parts and 2 Hrs of work goes up to $740. He says flat rate of $740 is good for me and hourly is not good, so and so forth. He also tells me that when his assistant calls, I don't pick up but when he calls from a different number I pick up - so he adds 2 and 2 together and concludes that I'm avoiding payment. But I called him earlier at his number to schedule the job and I know that it was him who's calling.

This guy is a totally unprofessional, uneducated, disrespectful and follows no business norms. I have seen no business operator getting so desperate to get payment in less than a week of the work without providing invoice. I am not sure if this business is on the verge of bankruptcy or if it has so many repeated incidents that decent customers don't pay or if it is that he was able to rip me off with a $740 bill for a $400 job that he must get payments now and run.

I had recommended him already to a friend of mine who has 2 rentals and wants to keep a set of technicians' contact handy and I told him to never call this company as long as Kem is working there.

Their treatment to their customer is horrible. I have never encountered such badly behaved service provider in my life.

Just had them over, he did a quick 15 min snake job! Professional and no fuss

I am a little bummed at them, quoted 105 /hr but end up charging 120$ (glove, trip charge)

I have used 4 different plumbing companies over the last 5 year's. I can tell you without any reservations CMS PLUMBING is hands down the best!!!
The did a complete repipe for me. The work they performed and how they laid out the new copper is just stunning. Their craftsmanship is top notch bar none.
The city inspector showed up today and could only find one small thing to correct, He wanted an insulation sleeve on one of the pipes. 2 min later it was a dune deal.
CMS PLUMBING owner and employees are very helpful and will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great experience when working with them. 5 out of 5 stars hands down.

They helped installing a new water pressure regulator. Their work is great and their service is very professional and honest. Paid much less than originally quoted because the job was done earlier than expected. Will certainly use their service again for any future plumbing related works.

Love CMS! Had to move a gas line over about a foot and drop it down to a different area. Cory came in, quoted and it was done as soon as it started. Didn't disrupt my work day and it got one more thing off of my 'to do' list.

Honestly, these guys are nothing short of amazing! Being in the property management business for what seems like a lifetime, we really depend on our vendors. Plumbing is our number one nemesis. I have recently (last 6 months or so) started using this company and have given them maybe 25-30 jobs, big and small. They have yet to fail me! They answer the phone, they schedule, they show up, they are timely, they repair or replace, they are polite and professional, and they communicate! Originally I thought they were pricey, however they get the job done in half the time (which cuts cost), and do it right!! Bottom line...I am a fan and would recommend them to anyone!! I don't know the entire crew but if they are all like Eddie and Eric, you just can't go wrong!!

Joe from CMS came and installed a shut off ball valve on hot water return line for my heater so I could have hot water in the house after a HVAC company accidentally broke the recirc pump and could not put it back together. He explained what he was doing then proceeded to accomplish his task. Painless.

I am a retired Plumber and I can recommend CMS Plumbing. My wife met the owner and asked me to give them a chance on a small project that we are doing on our house.
The CMS crew did a great job at my house last week. They did quality work, listened to my concerns, and were pleasant, polite, and neat. Their price was fair, they came when they promised and they finished up quickly.
