My garbage disposal stopped working on Christmas. When my husband declared it dead, I reached out to plumbers and CMP responded with a quote. Not only were they on time, he realized that the disposal only needed to be reset, not replaced (although they brought a replacement, per my initial request). They charged an amount less than quoted, didn't hassle me about the unit that they brought and both gentleman were extremely kind and friendly. Not the experience that I have had with past plumbing services. This is the company to call!

Ric and his team are very easy to work with. From schedule to completion took less than 24 hours. Contacted him for a main water valve replacement and they were very responsive and came in a timely manner and explained everything that is to be done. Got my deposit back quickly but it's not right to deposit a check before a job is actually started. I got an initial bad impression on the phone because I could hardly understand the person I was talking to and I could hear his kids screaming in the background.

Yet, the guy who was sent to give us an estimate gave us the best impression, the total opposite of the impression on the phone, so we went along and provided the deposit. There was no agreement for them to buy parts nor do anything in particular, other than hold our spot for them to come back and start the job.

At the end , we decided against the company and were very surprised to find out our check had already been cashed, when the repair had not even started. All they did was shut the water on that particular faucet to stop the leak until they could come back (and I would have been ok with paying for that, but my deposit was more than that was worth!). Nothing was said about a minimum for the visit. Yes, I did get my deposit back quickly, but the point is that I got a general bad impression from the get-go : One of lack of professionalism and clarity, on the phone. But the actual plumber who came, was great. Very knowledgeable, knew his craft.

I cannot recommend Ric and CMP Plumbing highly enough. After getting the run around from our home warranty company and a handful of other plumbers for 10 days, some of whom tried to price gouge, Ric was able to come out the same day we contacted him to replace our tankless gas water heater. His pricing was fair and transparent and all of their work is permitted. Have already referred him to my other contacts and he will be my first call for any plumbing issues in the future.
