We just had CLW out to the house to replace a water heater. This is the third time we have worked with them. Twice now the owner (Jim) has come out when the rest of the staff was busy to make sure our plumbing emergency didn't get any worse and fix the problem at hand. Jim and his son (Wes) worked until 8pm to complete the installation. The housing for our water heater was custom built for the old unit. They had to make alterations to the housing and I was very impressed with the work they did! This was all done for the price they quoted me up front. in the timeframe they promised. There have been no surprises with any of the jobs done by CLW. I now feel confident that any issues that arise will be handled by professionals that I trust. Lastly, it is great to be able to work with a true family business. The pride of craftsmanship is obvious in their work. Would certainly recommend!

The first time I used CLW Plumbing was for a leak from the gas shut off to my fireplace. The gas company found a leak and shut off the gas to the condo (and the building) until someone could come out to fix it. Talk about panic! I contacted CLW and Jim Wheat, the owner, came out. He assessed the problem, for my fireplace and the others in the building. He repaired the problem in short order at a very reasonable cost to the owners. The gas company came back out, tested the fireplaces and gave all of us clearance to turn the gas back on to the building. What a great job he did for all of us!!
About 6 months later, my water heater went out. I spoke with Jim. He sent out an employee to replace it. Adrian could not have been better. Professional, timely and affable. Did a terrific job and did it quickly. Way better than the last company I used. I have used enough ""contractors"" over time to know this is one company you want in your contact list. Thank you CLW !!!

Typically, I do not write reviews, but in this case, I feel compelled to do so.

I recently moved into an older home, and with that, the problems that come with it. So, when I started to notice a problem developing in a back bathroom, I started to get worried.

The thing about plumbers is that you have to be able to trust them. What do I know about plumber? Despite the amount of time I spend on the toilet, nada. So when a plumber says that they need to replace a valve or change the carburetor, as a consumer, I typically nod and ask a few questions to convey an air of knowledge, before getting to the real question: How much?

So imagine my anxiety when I was convince that the underlying issues I was confronted with was going to be work into the thousands.

Jim came in, assessed the problem and did the work required. He adjusted how he approached the problem throughout the appointment to get the job done. He had a great chance to take advantage of my niavete, but didn't and used it as an opportunity to educate me. He was professional, courteous and cleaned up after himself.

I was referred to CLW be a friend after receiving some unusually high quotes and negative attitudes from 2 different large Phoenix plumbing operations. I was quoted by one of the large plumbers $700 to snake my main drain line and given multiple scenarios where I would be on the hook for much more if anything went wrong with the my old pipes while snaking the drain. I reached out to CLW, they came the following morning, assessed my situation, snaked the drain in question for $200 and completed my job within an hour. The CLW staff are friendly, professional and have earned my trust. I will use CLW for all of my future plumbing needs and will refer them to any friends or family that need a good, honest plumber. We've used CLW for about 5 years now and we cannot say enough good about them. We have watched them grow and it's no surprise with the excellent service they give. We have an old house so lots of need for a good plumber. Today we had a rocky toilet that they had installed almost 2 years ago. They came out and fixed it in no time and then charged us absolutely nothing because it was still under warranty. We didn't even know it was under warranty. We would highly recommend them! We have recommended them to several people and no one has ever been disappointed.

Gary was easily able to set up a time for John to come out and take a look at our plumbing situation. It became a little more urgent as a backup occurred, and fortunately they were able to accommodate me the same day, get the problem solved, and suggest some maintenance that I perform regularly to keep my pipes clean and free of any blockages. Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. I thought I could only have two, but here I am with all three.
