I was referred to CLW be a friend after receiving some unusually high quotes and negative attitudes from 2 different large Phoenix plumbing operations. I was quoted by one of the large plumbers $700 to snake my main drain line and given multiple scenarios where I would be on the hook for much more if anything went wrong with the my old pipes while snaking the drain. I reached out to CLW, they came the following morning, assessed my situation, snaked the drain in question for $200 and completed my job within an hour. The CLW staff are friendly, professional and have earned my trust. I will use CLW for all of my future plumbing needs and will refer them to any friends or family that need a good, honest plumber. They are also a family owned local Phoenix company. Thank you CLW!

We've used CLW for about 5 years now and we cannot say enough good about them. We have watched them grow and it's no surprise with the excellent service they give. We have an old house so lots of need for a good plumber. Today we had a rocky toilet that they had installed almost 2 years ago. They came out and fixed it in no time and then charged us absolutely nothing because it was still under warranty. We didn't even know it was under warranty. We would highly recommend them! We have recommended them to several people and no one has ever been disappointed.

Gary was easily able to set up a time for John to come out and take a look at our plumbing situation. It became a little more urgent as a backup occurred, and fortunately they were able to accommodate me the same day, get the problem solved, and suggest some maintenance that I perform regularly to keep my pipes clean and free of any blockages. Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. I thought I could only have two, but here I am with all three.

Aside from the work, which has been flawless, and the price, which has been competitive, there's something else about these using these guys that puts my mind at ease and, for lack of more eloquent way to put it, makes me like them!

I noticed it from the first time I used them. The plumber was extraordinarily friendly. He worked surprisingly quickly, but it was clear that his efficiency was a result of his skill in his trade, not haste. The repair has been fine and we're 2-3 years out.

The second call, some time later, further reinforced my sentiment about CLW. Mark came out because I had a mysterious leak which occurred only at night, somewhere in my kitchen wall and dripped out from an overhanging corner onto my counter, leaving a puddle for me each morning. Great, an intermittent problem. This should be fun.

When Mark arrived, we chatted momentarily then he explained very clearly how the job would be charged. If I remember correctly, there was a leak-finding charge and then a charge to repair the leak. I agreed, and Mark went to work. Still shooting the breeze with me, Mark cut through the drywall once, determined where the leak was almost instantly, cut another hole to provide access to the temporary compression fitting which had obviously been installed as a permanent solution by our remodel contractor a year or two ago, then fixed the problem. Done. The whole thing was fast. The charge was absurdly reasonable. I was super-relieved.

The third time I called CLW, it all became clear. Jim, whom I learned was the owner of the business, came to the house. I found Jim to be the nicest, most genuine guy you could ever hope to meet. As we talked, I learned that his business is small - 7 people in total if I remember correctly. Some of those people are related to him, including Mark. It was obvious Jim takes pride in his work and in his company. In Jim, I saw a guy who doesn't *write* a mission statement for his company to follow, he *lives* his mission statement and his example defines the culture of the company. It's from him that the insistence on flawless work stems. It's from him that this friendly, individual treatment originates. And obviously it's him that is responsible for the reasonable pricing structure.

The end result is a great company that I foresee using for all of my plumbing needs for as long as I live in Phoenix. If you're in need of a plumber, I'd definitely recommend you try them and I hope and expect your experiences will be equally as great as mine!

Note: While I realize this review is ridiculously complimentary, it's soley because of the powerful impression my interactions with CLW left on me. I do not know Jim or anyone else from CLW outside of my business dealings with the company.

I've dealt with this company a number of times now, and have always been highly pleased with both the work performed and the overall experience. Reliable . . . trustworthy . . . ethical . . . reasonable pricing . . . these come to mind when I think of CLW, and I give them my highest recommendation. Since they are a small business, response time may not be as quick as the ""big boys,"" but you will not be disappointed when giving CLW a chance to earn your business.
