I scheduled a camera sewer scope inspection for a home I'm planning to buy. I asked Sam 3 times over the phone and text messages if he will come on a scheduled time, he confirmed every time. Right before the appointment he calls me and says that ""he cannot make it today because he is stuck with another work"". Why you even say that you're available this time?? I have a short time window for an inspection and home buying process is very stressful. Sam brought me more problems and stress. It is very unprofessional and irresponsible

Can't say enough good things about Climatech. Had a main sewer back up again and they came out same day, very competitive price and routed it quickly. They also offered to do the camera for an additional fee which we took them up on to see what our issue was. They took their time, explained all the inner workings, explained what they could do to fix our problem, which is thankfully minor. They were straight forward about another option that they don't offer but we could seek out if we wanted. They are an honest company that does not make you feel like they are taking you for a ride. We had a double kitchen sink back up late Saturday afternoon.
Called a few plumbing services in the area but none were available to come out immediately.
Was able to reach Sam. He responded quickly, & arrived at our doorstep within 20 minutes.
He was able to resolve the issue by running a commercial type drain auger down the chute. Sam made quick work of the problem. 24 hours later, no issues to report. Satisfied and will be using Sam's plumbing services for other needs.

Money down the drain...Had sewage back up in our basement due to our main sewage drain needing to be rodded out due to roots in Jan. Climatech came out rodded the line, cleared the backup, and charged me $350 and gave me a 1 month guarantee. Three months later in early April same thing happened, called them back, and they quoted me $350 again to which I stated they obviously didn't fix it the first time and they offered a $90 discount. They rodded it again and gave me no guarantee. One month later the basement backed up again, I called a relative who is in the business but not local who traveled, put a camera in the line, said the clog was never fully cleared, fixed it, and it has been good since.

Our kitchen sink drain was clogged. I called Climatech on a Saturday and Sam responded right away. He was at our place inless than two hours. He cleared the drain and while we were at it we had him install a garbage disposal. Great work at a reasonable price!

This review is long overdue. I first used Sam for some emergency plumbing work about a year ago, and then used his services about 2 more times before we sold our condo in Rogers Park. Sam is very communicative and reliable, and his prices are fair! We even needed a small fix to our bathroom sink before the sale of our condo went through, and Sam was able to get the job done quickly and without us being available to let him in (I felt comfortable enough giving him the code to our door). Highly recommend Sam and his services!
