The water heater that came with the house when we bought it failed on a Sunday. I called the number on the heater for service and short time later Chase Clifton called back, talked me through the process to drain the water tank and schedule a crew to come out the next morning to replace it. They came on time and quickly replaced the water heater without any hassles. Professional and timely. Highly recommend.

Horrible customer service. I used these guys to turn on my gas for my fireplace, plumber was here not even 30 minutes and was Billed for 1.5 hours. They billed for travel time to and from Salinas. They took about 3 months to bill me because they wrote down my wrong email and when I called them the owner tried blaming me for it. I gave them the correct email the day of service and 3 weeks ago. As a customer you shouldn't have to chase A due bill down, according to the owner its the customer responsibility. Won't use these guys again.

Needed replacement water heater for rental unit. Chuck handled bid simply and efficiently. My request for a specific unit of water heater was met with complete flexibility. Chase was at location exactly on time and had water heater installed inside an hour. The new water heater had a broken spring in the faceplate of the controller. Chase quickly swapped out the old faceplate to the new heater and fired it up. Chase was polite, fast, and fair. Family business and one I will be using in the future. After experiencing a last-minute cancellation to have my drains serviced, I called Clifton's Plumbing and they were able to send a service tech to my residence in a timely fashion. The office staff were professional and informative. The service tech arrived and got straight to work, who also happen to be a veteran like myself. The service tech completed the job quickly and tidied up after himself. The price was fair and from what I gathered, was pretty much the standard rate for the service performed. I will definitely call them again should I need any plumbing work.

Terrible customer service. Plumber came out to fix a simple clogged kitchen sink and whatever he did messed up the washer from properly draining. It had been working just fine before. The sink itself is now fixed but the same pipe that drains kitchen runs to washer. The person who answered the phone when I called them to come take a look at it got completely irrational asking me questions I wouldn't know anything about and then said I tried to blame their plumbers for everything. Instead of saying sorry about that! ""Let's take a look and we'll see if we can help"" he got defensive and sarcastic with me. Easily could've avoided the issue had he acknowledged it and not try to be rude and say I was blaming their plumber. I was simply stating facts.

We had an incredibly bad experience with these folks.
1. The water line they installed for our bath remodel failed and water rained down on the room below. They were called out on a Friday, looked at it, stopped the major flow and said they'd be back on Monday, leaving water dripping through the sheetrock. They didn't even put a bucket under it.
2. Installed a bathtub that clearly didn't fit the space (the order was not their responsibility) without comment or suggestion. You would think the plumber would say to the homeowner ""there's something wrong here."" Not.
3. Billed me for labor that was the general contractor's responsibility (Clifton was a subcontractor), then called me a ""liar"" and threatened to sue when I questioned the billing. Rude and immature behavior at best.
Conclusion: never again!

We are in a rental property that had ancient awful heating. The landlord had Clifton come in and redo all of the ducting and install a new heating unit. Guys were hard working, knew what they were doing and were on time, clean and courteous. It was a nasty mess and now a tidy and efficient system.
