I have been a customer of this company for many years, but that did not stop them from being rude to me on the phone when I tried to call for service, telling me to go to another plumber, and hanging up on me. This is totally uncalled for. Do not bother with this plumber, there are many good plumbers around. Never mind the fact that he had to do the same repair several times and charged me each time. Can't get it right the first time.

""THE ANGRY PLUMBER!"" is absolutely correct. I gave this guy a call and he was incredibly rude! After a couple sentences and a question, then suddenly he didn't want to talk. So _he hung up_ on me before I could get anything in edgewise. It was only _the first time_ I called! He mistreats people he speaks to _for the very first time!_ When I tried calling back he threatened to call the Buena Park Police on me! How does he expect to get any business if he makes the worst possible first impression over the phone! So sad.

We have used this plumber many times, even my other family members including my Mom used them. I recommended him to every one. I thought he was great until he installed a water heater last Sept. Since that time we have had twice when we had no hot water. It took them 2 days to fix the problem both times, They blamed it on rain. It seems funny we have had a water heater in that spot for the last 14 years before this with no problems. I did a little research and found out this was highly unlikely probably the installation that caused the rain to flood the cabinet. This time I think the owner came out and it was installed differently. Hopefully it will work, although we will never use them again and neither will anyone else I know. Cliff told my husband don't call if it breaks down it is not their problem and they won't fix it again.

This is my go to plumber. I have referred him to my parents and brother. My parents have referred him to other people. I've been using Cliff Johnson Plumbing for over 10 years now. My home is 50+years old and he and his crew are familiar with the oddities of old plumbing. Whenever there is an emergency, his crew is there within an hour or sooner. The emergencies are never the same. Always something different (old house). I highly recommend you try him. I see the reviews of him being ""rude,"" he's not there to be your best friend, he has a job to do and takes it seriously, but I've seen him smile and crack jokes. He isn't a mean guy, far from. Heart of gold and is there to help you fix your plumbing problem. If you try him, you won't be sorry!

Another name for Cliff Johnson Plumbing.... THE ANGRY PLUMBER! I have no idea what is wrong with this guy but he has been sent out to my house thru the Property Management company about 3 times.. Each time he is Angry and gruff. He even asked me what I had done to break my faucet? WHAT? What professional plumber asks that?
This guy is SO unpleasant to be around. He is certainly in the wrong business.. He seems to not like people.

Mr. Johnson does not stand by his work.
He installed a small electric water heater in an office, which worked fine for about six months. Then it quit. We called him and he sent out one of his plumbers who didn't know what was wrong, so he called the manufacturer for ""Warranty Service"".
The manufacturer then sent their own plumber who quickly determined that one original wire connection was loose in the wire nut, resulting in a burned wire and melted wire nut. He also found that the wires were reversed - Black to White and White to Black!

The manufacturer's plumber repaired it and gave us a bill, as this faulty wiring would not be covered under the warranty.

When we presented the bill to Cliff Johnson, he claimed that he did nothing wrong and flatly refused to pay for his error.

I am a property manager and have used many plumbing companies over the years and this is the first time I have encountered this type of attitude. Obviously, I will never use Cliff Johnson Plumbing again.

a complete waste of $250. cliff broke the lens off on his camera in the pipe & didn't clear the clog. he told me it was a cracked sewer pipe which it was not. roto rooter of anaheim came and cleared the clog & their camera was much more heavy duty. Don't use cliff.

Similar to the 1st review. Never got past the phone call. Called the number on the website cause it said 24hours. Didnt sound happy to hear from me and when i told him whats wrong he acted like i an idiot. As for a rough estimate and he laugh and said he would know unless he came out. Then i said i wouldnt want to waste his time if he was going to charge all kinds of fees and he said ok have a nice day. For a person in a competitive industry he really doesnt know how make a sale.NEVER USE HIS SERVICE

This guy might be the greatest plumber EVER, but I'll never know. First, I called late at night because I wasn't aware the number was forwarded to his cell number 24 hours. I called late because I was just planning to leave a message. He was not happy that I called late. I felt bad for an innocent mistake. He told me to call the next day during normal hours, which I did. I wanted to know when he could come out. The receptionist said that his schedule was booked and wouldn't be open until next week. At that time, he would call me to schedule an appointment. A week later, I never got a call. I called them back and the receptionist said he was on-site at the time, but he would call me once he was done to schedule with me. That was a week ago. So needless to say, he's either too busy or doesn't care about doing my apartment complex. I have since gone to a different plumber who was willing to come out same day and is also a very busy plumber. Not a good experience. If any of you have gotten him to return a call congratulations, but I'm staying away from this guy.
