this is the worst company ever. The prices of their 'services' are skyrocketing. The contractor was informed upfront over the phone conversation about what we needed to repair faucet. He came and took off for the store to peek up parts he needed. He spent over 2 hours to repair just one faucet and priced us over $400.
Gave us his invoice in which he specified the tax added to the bill. In a couple of days he called and harassed us for not paying tax. Who in the whole prof. world spent over 2 hrs and estimates the job for over 400 $ and then making multiple calls to harass?
We were week, did not expect him to spend that much time. We should sent him off our property once found out that he will need now to travel for the parts he knew he will need.
The guy was super rude, just a mafia attitude. I reported all this to BBB - will se what' s going to happen. Plan to go to court next. Awful.
I would do that faucet myself, just want to make sure professional will do it well.

I don't totally know what to say. I called to get some info about upgrading my water meter, specifically the pricing. Was told they do not provide estimates. I wasn't even looking for a free estimate, I would pay, I just wanted a rough idea if it would be a hundred dollars or a zillion dollars. Was told, ""no way to tell, we work by the hour, every house is different."" Surely. But, isn't that accounted for in the estimate - an estimation based on the idea that every house is different? 'Parently not. I would have to have them come out, do the work, then find out what I was on the hook for once there was no turning back.

The gal on the phone made it clear that they don't want my business.

I called D Rhode who is giving me an estimate later today. Oh, and they're pulling the permit.

Arrived on time and did great work at a reasonable price. This was not the first time I've used this company and now for certain, I will be a customer for life!

wanted to think twice before reviewing. they wouldn't give quote for furnace checkup and cleaning. 1st time for that with various services in 30 years. should have taken the hint. to be fair, office and service personnel were polite and professional. work was professional and complete but took longer than ever before. here's my complaint... service took two hours, i can live with that i guess. but the billing was called in and totaled and returned which took 10 minutes which was added to the service call at a 1/2 hour charge.

We had Cleveland Plumbing change out our hot water heater. They came on time and finished without any issues. The Technicians were courteous and neat without any butt cracks. :) Everything works great. Thanks guys

We have done restoration work for clients of Cleveland Plumbing. Down to a person they had nothing but good things to say about them. I have also been the victim of someone giving a bad review and later found it to be the competition....a very low blow. My staff and I keep meticulous records and usually never find the person making a complaint. Meanwhile we have 140 5 star reviews.....go figure. Like Scott,we answer all issues personally. and, worst yet...rude technicians.
this is a story often told- we used these guys for a few years for heating and plumbing b4 getting some really crappy, rude and unprofessional service.
bottom line:
find services that respect you.
you can pay many places to do this work-this shouldn't be the one!!

My wife and I are restoring a 145 year old house in the historic district in the City Poughkeepsie. This restoration has replaced every pipe, fixture, water and sewer line in the house. If you are looking for a Master Plumber who has the skill to tackle the most challenging plumbing problems you MUST call Cleveland Plumbing and ask for Mike, James and Ethan. These guys are Amazing............

Cleveland Plumbing was clutch - they came through for me between major winter storms (3 days apart) and were able to come out that day to look at my heating system. Heather was very helpful on the phone, she let me know that they could fit me in after another service call, but that the timing was dependent on the previous job (which was completely understandable). She then kept in contact with me to let me know that their service tech was finishing up the previous job, and then that he was on his way. (Even the owner, Scott, emailed me to reassure me they would look into the problem to make sure there wasn't a gas leak.)

When Dave (the plumber/tech) came out to the house, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. He immediately diagnosed the issue (my boiler had flooded), and tried to trace the problem to the source (which we believe was a result of 2 days of a brownout followed by a blackout, due to one of this season's major storms). There was another big winter storm in the forecast for the next day, so it was an incredible relief that Cleveland Plumbing was able to come out to my house and diagnose my heating problems. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a competent and thorough plumber/HVAC technician. Thanks Cleveland!!

Be careful if you use these guys they try to rack up hours and before you know it you just spent $900 for a clogged drain. Not very honest at all . Totally 100% took advantage of us. Please be careful. You have just been warned to stay away from them. How do you think they got those nice new fancy trucks by ripping people off.
